thats probly the board cap. the shocktec timmy/bushy boards are 66.6 bps. dont mean it will shoot that fast tho

you cant physically shoot more than 33 bps without a rotary barrel (gattling gun) because balls will start to stack up in the barrel and collide, and therefore break

it might be cycles but i dont know, but when you read down it talks about only ramping up to the feeders capability or up to 15 so the 45 doesnt really matter -------------

| no the devilmag is an rt mag that has been ACE'd and with a predator board as shown on the site. So you have a high end gun with all the advantages of a mag,and the site is pretty self explanatory if you just look at the specs |

What, do you just put five of them in there and blow really hard? :) Maybe I'll double load my phantom and get that extra bps. With me shooting two and you with five we'd probably have the same range.

Oh good lord. If you were shoot 100-200 bps you might start to have a problem along those lines, depending on your gun and your barrel, but 33bps isn't even close.

Actually, based on the math that I did, at a velocity of 300 feet per second, you'd have to shoot more than 5294 balls per second to get them hitting each other. ------------- I wouldn't venture out there fellas. This sniper's got talent. |

But you have to figure with acceleration. If we assume linear acceleration (which isn't accurate, but a reasonable approximation), a 0 fps start velocity and 300 fps end velocity (muzzle velocity), then you get average velocity of 150 fps inside the barrel. Further assuming a 12" (one foot) barrel, you would therefore have to shoot exactly 150 bps in order for two balls to be in the barrel at the same time. At that point interactions may begin to occur, even if the balls aren't actually touching each other. But - if you are calculating how fast you have to shoot before the balls actually touch each other, the answer is infinite bps. Because, remember, you physically can't shoot one ball until the previous ball has left the chamber. And once the first ball is off, the second ball can never catch up until the balls start decelerating, barring non-contact interaction. :)
