Ole Ted "the swimmer" Kennedy did it again, doing his best to undermine on the eve of a historic event the confidense of the American along with Iraqi people.

This man who in 1975 rallied against forefilling our commitment to the South Vietnamese, as they faced the Norths invasion, now is for purely political payback undermining the process of elections in Iraq. AlJazera airing this over and over so average Iraqis on the fence can interpret that we are going to abandon them, now may not vote fearing more for the future if we leave immediately as a US Senator stated we should, than fearing what his vote has cast in his future.

These ramblings from the youngest brother of one of the Greatest Presidents of the 20th Century, who had a message, who had vision, who stood toe to toe against the Soviets, when all around him wanted to appease. Another brother, objectively one of the Greatest Presidents we never had, who by the way was shot dead by an Arab extremest. Both John, and Robert are rolling in thier graves and are waitin in heaven to smack the head of the youngin for being an idiot.

Nice Job "Teddy".......there are no Statute of Limitations on murder...can we say Mary Joe.........

Ted Kennedy is an idiot. I was watching a radio show one morning (yes, a radio show on TV), I think on NBC, the host's name is Amus or somthing...

But they were talking about the new Attorney General (or was it a Supreme Court justice? I don't know, it was one of them) appointment by Bush, and during an interview by Congress, Ted Kennedy questioned the the guy on whether he knew about torture, such as water torture, in Iraqi prison. Yeah, Ted Kennedy is an expert on water torture...

Ted Kennedy is a non entity, and he knows it. He doesn't have enough power in the senate to get the usher to open the door for him when he leaves for the day.

To make up for his lack of influence he has resorted to making himself a thorn in the side of those whom he doesn't like.

If it weren't for this regular thoughtless nonsense he puts out, we would never hear of him. But polititians don't like to be ignored or forgotten. Maybe he can make Boston a province of France, where he is better regarded than he is at home.

DBibeau855 mentioned Iraq, so that reminds me of something...

How many people can honestly say that they believe their were no WMDs?

Too bad for them because they're wrong - during the first day of fighting, SCUD missiles (armed with biological/chemical warheads) were launched against US bases and installations in Kuwait. Our boys took them down with Patriots, so the media probably figured it wasn't an exciting story to report...

I think the Patriot Missile system was one of those things Kerry tried vetoing, you know like Kevlar.

^^^Yeah, he likes to throw out stabs in the back, then retreat when the other side is shown. It's not like any other conservative has ever said something stupid or had a scandal they got away with.

Posted By: oldsoldier

As we allways can depend on Dune's totally non-biased response to anything and everything he does not believe in. And the other side to this is? Need to know what I need to retreat from this time.

And being on the road I can not maintain the offensive since I am limited to where wifi sites are. So I am on when I can.

At least conservative personal scandals do not have bodies to explain, like Mary Joe and Vince........and as for stupid statements we have our share.....but we do not put forth such an attack on the eve of a major forign policy issue just for political points.

Have fun Dune....keep up the fire....we need shinning examples like yourself to let us know what the other side has in store for the nation.................Notice the Glock signature is gone....kinda hard to have the peace, love and understanding personna with a firearm in the mix......have a great day............

1375 is the latest Republican scandal body count isn't it?

Posted By: oldsoldier
Date Posted: 29 January 2005 at 6:11pm
group rates do not count..., LBJ's scandal body count stands at @54,000, (Read "Bright and Shinning Lie" the LBJ Shell Oil/Rubber scandal and US involvement along with other fun to know facts on the early Vietnam expierience) so we got a while before we catch up, and if we were allowed to do what we need to do, the count will not reach LBJ's record breaking attempt, LBJ got us in, Nixon got us out.
"I will not send American boys, to do what the South Vietnamese boys can do for themselves" to quote a famous Texan in 1964......

Modern personal scandal body counts have dems up by at least two, Mary Joe and Vince, and no charges on either.

I dont talk alot of politics with my freinds because in person i am an amazing debator i can work either side of the argument. The other reason is i keep my cool witch just gets on there nerves(i dont do it on perpose im just so laid back in person i cant help it)

If you read the whats the deal with bush threads youll see im leaning right on alot of things and the things im not im leaning up on.

I belive strongly in gun controle because if you have no controle you cant hit anything. I'm also for abortion but only post pardem and only of the parents who want to abort there baby. Im also very against the death penalty I think we should just kill them instead of leaving to rott on death roe that cruel and unusal punishment.

there lets see if i can get flamed now!

OS, the HK sig is gone for a reason I am not sure of. Just because I have that doesn't mean I cannot preach peace. Idealistic, fueling the fire, public school system, free money=welfare? Wow, and I'm the one brainwashed? It's almost as if I'm speaking directly to the president. Oh well, it's not like I expect much other than a witty retort about how your wisdom pwns all and how my "liberal" mind just scapegoats. Too old, too old.

Brain washed you would be the excpert that the first thing the liberals teach you. What is welfare if not free money? What do you have to do to get nothing its free I should know i know enough people on welfare. I wouldnt know what the president is saying. as political as i get is setting you people straight and watching the daily show I guess because its so right wing. I guess the only ones that would have a chance to brainwash me would be my history book and all the liberals i'm surrounded by. I cant help it i have a higher then average IQ my state provided test said i have a 187 IQ they wanted me to register for some club but i said no....................I

Mary Jo Kopechne was the girl that Sen. Ted Kennedy was with when he was allegedly DWI, and drove off a bridge into a creek. The chivalrous and married Senator Kennedy managed to get out of the car and to the creek bank, but alas the poor Mary Jo Kopechne drowned. It may be a surprise to those of you who are in the "younger generation" that poor Sen. kennedy was cleared (cough) of any wrongdoing. My previous post was simply finishing Mary Jo's name mentioned in Oldsoldier's original post. This incident happened before  most of you were born. It was a big scandal.
OS did I leave out anything?

I believe you left one thing out:

He wasn't just with her, he was having an affair with her. One of a few biddies he was hittin'. He also fled the scene and waited for someone else to report the accident.

And also he was still recovering from a plane crash, so there was a bit of suspicion as to how he was able to swim out, but the healthy girl was not.

And my puppy's name is "Tedkennedy".

Or maybe it's because of your obvious lack of humility. I question how you were able to receive two stars after only 84 posts. Is that because you can vouch for yourself as being "the best debator around?" Obviously, since you call welfare free money and want the public school system to be thrown out. I mean, so easy, so simple, so good for everyone.

Yes,no, I'm better then you duh, Welfare is free money, no spelling involved and finaly I could get a response out of any one so I started makeing things up It was fun for me and all my freinds got a huge laugh out of because me online is nothing like me in person.

Oh as far as the IQ that was completely made up i never looked at my perm record to see what i scored. I did take an online test after posting and scored 139 thou this is probly to make you think your more inteligent then you are so youll buy some thing, especialy since i was in a huge hury to finish (way longer then they made it sound).

I did however score in the top 4% of my state on the science meap test in high school with i think just goes to show you that public education is a farse. I only had to science class in high school geo and aplied physics (I told my councler I was to lazy for real physics, I'm not kidding either i realy told him that)so i think top 4% is pretty good when you think about the fact that I failed 1 semester of each of those science classes.

Public education is a farse? Man, I thought you were way off with believing welfare was free money.

Posted By: metalpunx
Date Posted: 31 January 2005 at 11:44pm
Dune if you cant see that welfare is free money then i fear you have no concept of what money or free means.

Welfare doesn knothing but teach people how to live off others by collecting free money that they have to do nothing for. Some people manage to get off welfare but most don't. It takes hard work and determination and the welfare system does nothing to promote those to things. Whats the point in working hard to get off welfare when it so much easier to stay on it.

Public education is just that a farse. Every one blames the failing education system on lack of funding and yet private schools manage to provide a better education at half the cost. So why can't the public schools compete with private schools with half the budget per student and half the technoligy?

I would just like to add that private school population are not limited to ideal students either. Students who get kicked out of public schools end up in private schools.
