Check your valve screws on the right side of the gun. Make sure you dont strip them, and use locktite.

Take your gun apart and look for any missing O-rings.

Firstly, what is your gun?

Sounds like a problem with your valve.

Funny. From the hollow comment, YOU FORGOT TO TAKE YOUR CVX OUT OF THE OLD POWERTUBE AND PUT IT IN THE "PRO SEAL" POWERTUBE. My suggestion- the pro seal is crap, doesn't do anything except make your gun operate worse, and too much trouble to be worth anything. Just put the old powertube back in, and make sure you ask before falling for marketing hype. Sorry you lost about 30 bucks.

Was the marker cocked?

If it wasn't cocked, then the bolt is putting pressure on the valve and releasing CO2 and its a simple "fix".

If you had the marker cocked, then we need more info about the type of marker.

yea like arbites said make sure ur marker is cocked before u put in ur air - i had the same problem (i think im not exactly sure wut ur problem is tho).  Oil ur gun up real nice and then cock it and put in ur air, that fixed it for me.

Are you guys listening? He said the valve pin is missing. He also said his new powertube the "Pro Seal" is hollow. Let's see... carry the 1... divide by 2... multiply by the reciprocle of the integrated geometric mean... oh yeah he didn't put the CVX in the new powertube.

Push the CVX out of the old powertube, then push it back into the new one. Just make sure you're careful.

If you find a hole in the tank, DO NOT WELD IT.   My friend told me that his tank had a hole in the side...  (He used up all the CO2, and then dropped it down a steep incline)  So he says "I'm thinking of welding it shut and then refilling it."  I just dropped my jaw and asked him if he wanted to have a grenade blow up inches from him.  Just throw the tank away if it is damaged beyond repair.  Dont be stupid.  Good luck...

LOL, I completely skipped over the originator's second posting after typing in "did you have it cocked?" so often. It TOTALLY sounds like LordJovian was right and the valve (and possibly even the bolt) were never installed into the new power tube.

But I would NOT suggest to follow what LordJovian said to do in his second posting, but instead go with the advice from his first. Leave your valve in the plastic power tube (unless it is broken then contact Tippmann for a replacement) and get rid of the Pro Seal one. I also have an aluminum Pro Seal Powertube and it looks great ... in my parts box covered in dust.

How does the valve come out of the power tube?  Is it screwed in place cause mine won't just slide out.  I'm having problems with my A-5 too, and I think it might be the valve.
