Yes it helps, yes it is worth it.

And I have heard 17 - 18 bps with the RT.

It helps by assisting you get a higher rate of fire. The RT is simply a little device in the handle of the marker that has a small piston that uses excess gas to reset the trigger. There is a certain point that you can pull your trigger, and the RT will make the trigger bounce off your finger, creating an almost full automatic effect.

May sound a little stupid the way I describe it, but there you go.

Its definetley worth it, everyone thinks my friend has an automatic marker.
