I am picking up
my newly installed Response Trigger this weekend from my local
paintball shop and was curious what your suggestions are on a new
hopper that I should pick up when I go. It looks like I may get either
the 12V Revvy, Empire II, or a 2k. Thanks for your help.

the revy and empire 2 can feed 12BPS. both are great chocies. the 2k is an ok hopper. But if u could also go for an egg which can feed 16 bps.

the revy and empire 2 are very similar except that the empire is sound activated , they both fead around 12 BPS. The 2k has an lcd screen on the back and also feeds around 12bps. The egg is faster and feeds around 16. If your r/t is tuned and you can sweet spot it , it can shott pretty fast. If i were you i would go with the egg.

with the money you'd be spending on a 2k, you could get a eVLoution II,
they feed 17pbs, and if you take care of it, it would be the last
hopper yuou needed.

If you can get your hands on an older egg get one, they dont break as easily and are more durable then the ones now, but other then that get a reloader.

Thanks for your help, I think I may get the eVLution II, but my local
shop is tryin to rip me off for like $90 bucks according to their site,
I hope its cheaper in the store cas thats highway robbery.

i dont care what other peeps say but my suggestion is you get a
12 volt revvy, fast reliable, durable, ok lookin...that and you can
adjust the R/T to shoot about 12.b.p.s.

I see I see...why are there so many suggestions to buy a hopper that
goes faster than the R/T can? Is there logic to buying one that is
faster than 12 b.p.s if the R/T supposedly only shoots that fast?

that if ur ever shooting more u dont have to worry about ever choppin paint. its better to have faster than u know u can shoot just incase ur really faster than u think. thats why. but i would still go with the revvy. i know plenty of guys with ful auto 98cs that thats all they have and they never chop unless the batt. die while there in mid stream.

Most paintballers believe in the "spray and pray" method...which to me is useless and its been said many times...it only takes 1 ball to take out the other player.

Well the Revvy seems to be getting the approval of many, and the fact
that its cheaper helps. When I get a chance I'm gonna pick one up,
thanks for all of your input. And Happy Groundhog Day!

I like the Revolution for moderatly fast loading but the Reloader seems to be a little better in my recent experience. Price is comparable too.
Another option is the Halo TSA. (Tilt Sound Activated) The rotors spin in whichever direction will work best depending on which way your marker is tilted.
