My son and I are looking for someone who has access to woods or farm land, that wants some regular local players.  We live in Howell which is midway between Detroit and Lansing off I-96.  I live on a quarter acre and don't have too many options for playing other than official playing fields.  We already know about Hell Survivors and Future Ball.  We also have friends in the neighborhood, another Dad and three more teenagers that would be very interested.  We are all extremely safety conscious!  Willing to chip in on extra paint for the host!  Please post on this thread or PM me.

Is it legal to play on state land in Michigan, I wonder?

Thats sketchy whether it is legal or not. We have been yelled at by the DNR before when we played in Monroe, but once they found out that the paint washes away quickly they didn;t care.

The closest location i can think of unfortunatly is in Belleville. Don't know about too much further North. It usually has a good turnout, Its in the Willow run property. PM me for directions.

yeah i dont know about state land but i tell u what...a friend on mine and i have a d-day game on june 4 (its kinda annual to remmber and renact d-day...it would be on june 6 but its a mon. so we're going to have it on the 4th) its awesome, last year we had alot of people and its awesome!  we have a landing craft (and are adding another) that the door splashes into a waist hight creek, then u got to run across an open beach with tank traps and a 42 willys jeep (that still runs and we play ambush the convoy on)  then u have to run up a hill with a seawall and over take the cemment bunker and other bunkers and trenches. and crush the germans...lol. its great fun and very real.  ranks, medics, etc.  we hold it in allendale.  if ur interested give me an email mailto:ptballr@altelco.net - ptballr@altelco.net other wise we hold games everyother weekend on sat.

I'd contact church groups to see if they know anyone doing it.

Seems like alot of churches play organized renegade ball.
