Your question is very confusing....you say that the bolt on the side is stripped and it wont go in?

That doesnt make any sence at all...or you are you trying to say that the threads on the valve (located inside the power tube) is stripped?

If so, you will have to replace the valve for a new one

Ok, the threads inside of the valve i guess, the thing that the c02 line hooks up to, the threads on that are stripped.

Im still confused...1st you said its a screw and now youre saying its the air line....which is which on what you are asking about?

Well, either way...if the threads are stripped, you would still have to replace the valve...not the power tube.

ok lets start over, the thing that the c02 line hooks up to, the thing that has 2 screws in the back, one of the screws wont go in because the thing that the c02 line hooks up to is stripped. if that makes any sense, will it stop me form playing, one screw still holds it on.

Yes it will impair the performance of the marker...and like I said, if the threads in the valve are stripped...replace it wit a new one and if you can do it yourself, then bring the marker to the proshop and let an airsmith work on it.

are the threads where your stainless braided line goes into stripped?

if so, you cant really fix that yourself. if you try to retap those threads, it will be hard to find new SS line one size up. so youll need a new valve (recommended) or valve body. a new valve costs $30, and a new body is i think $16. its not easy transplanting all of the valve internals into a new body, so Tippmann recommend you get a new valve. but heres some steps for disassembly- http://model98.net/tts1.html - http://model98.net/tts1.html

or the bolts that hold the valve in on the right receiver half stipped?

if its this, ypu can simply retap the stripped threads an get bolts one size up, or get a new valve or valve body described above.

If your not confident you can do this yourself, just take it to your local shop and they should be able to fix it in a jiff.

Yes it holds something together and you ARE NOT supposed to fire your gun at anytimes becasue it will mess you up. I had the same problem but both my holes were stripped on it. What you need to do is buy a new Valve body. They are about 17 bucks.

Okay, you are saying the steel-braided line is stripped at one end, so it won't fit in the valve below the handle. You need to buy a new line at any local proshop.
