Well my old new balance casual sneakers (to the suprise of many), just don't seem to cut it when I am running around the woods of my local paintball field.  I was wondering if perhaps a pair of army boots were good to get since they are so uber cheap (Surplus stores and etc.) But then again they look heavy.  I was looking at the Oakley Assault Boots, and man those things are nice but they are 125 bucks or a little more on ebay, 225 retail.  Anybody know where I can get some type of military style boots that don't weigh a person down and are decently price.  Or better yet, if anyone just knows a good pair of boots that have been loyal to them, Please let me know. (Yes, I am a noob.) DominicanOps@msn.com

buy a cheapo pair of waterproof ankle high Work boots from wal-mart? I have been using my Boots from wal-mart for paintballing for like 6 months now, and they have held up fine.

Get an old pair of Military style Jungle Boots at the Army Surplus, they usually cost less than $50 a pair.

An Army/Navy Surplus store is your best bet for finding a pair of cheap military boots. I would say to look for a pair of high topped boots for ankle protection and make sure they are waterproof.

Well, I assume that most of these army surplus boots you put mentioned allowed you to run without bogging your speed to the rate of a snail.  Your advice is taken into consideration.  Thanks.

Look for military combat boots. Regular workboots are heavy and clunky, atleast for me they are. Or you can use a pair of football spikes that are ankle high to prevent sprains.

If your playing woodsball DO NOT WEAR CLEATS. Cleats are very bad for climbing over sticks and branches. Cleats work good for speedball where they can dig into something but in woodsball the ground is usually littered with sticks and rocks and is hard to get a proper footing with cleats. Go with army boots or just high top shoes.

If you are looking for a wide selection & cheap price go to SierraTrading.com. Best deals I have found and name awesome prices on everything, also overstock.com is good to..You should be able to find some Hightop sneaks or light weight Hiking Boots..Army boots are great but all the ones I tried I found to be a little heavy.

Army boots are heavy but do offer water and ankle protection. IF you get army boots don't get the cheap recruit boots, while they are very durable and very cheap they take forever to brake in and have no kind of padding for your feet. I would go with the Belleville Combat Boots, they are heavy as well but feel like tennis shoes and are probably the best boot for its buck. They have never let me down.

But in woodsball I play in a pair of Timberlands, they work fine for me.

Pate,

Dude, why would you have a sig of a underage girl posing with little to no clothes on?

That's somewhat disturbing...
