I have an A-5 with the flatline and egrip and I heard that Zap
paintballs work well in the flatline except there are more than one
type of paintballs made by Zap. I am looking at the tork ones
since they are cheapest. Does anyone have any experience with
these?

the flatline likes small bore paint, zaps are medium, a better brand
would be marbilizers or evil. try those, you will get better
performance out of the flatline.

Since they're cheap you might as well buy them and try it out. We all use CORE in ours without a problem. $35 for 2000. The flatline isnt as picky on paint as people say it is.

I had been using marbalizers but at $60 per case I needed an
alternative. I'll try CORE out. Is there a reputable site I
can order it from?

Just to add a tidbit of info here. Zap Industries makes a brand called DBX practice balls sold at **edited**s Sporting Goods. They sell them for 19.98 for 1000. They work really well, and although they say practice grade dont let them fool you. They do pretty dang good!

And some other good stuff

Ive used a whole case of ZAP Torks (2000 ct) for my Flatline when I 1st got into paintballing....dont get them, you'll be experiencing way too many chops when using the Flatline (regardless if the marker is a 98c or the A5).......use RPS Premiums, theyre small bore balls.
