You read the entire article? My parents told me about it and I just pulled up the quickest article I could find. I originally heard the preacher was from PA, and that christians donated worldwide to meet his bail. -------------

Read the whole article. Unless I am really missing something, the first paragraph was just a hypothetical. The other examples were presumably real, but not the first paragraph. That's the way I read it anyway... |

^^It would be a good thing for a more unbiased source, but you probably are not going to find one... The first paragraph might have been an example... It deserves some looking into... EDIT: Google search for Joseph Jenkins turns up that he was on the confirmed dead list for 9/11. EDIT 2: I gotta speed up my replies... Of course, the main giveaway is that, TMK, there is no federal hate crime law... And no state, TMK, has a hate crime law that would apply here. Mostly they just create tougher sentencing... I still say it was just a hypothetical. |
