Shoot mostly speed ball, but like to hang back and sharpshoot.

I have a 98C with a Flatline. So far I have found Marballizer to shoot best. Expensive at $60 a case. I am waiting for an order of All-Star. Am told it shoots well in the Flatline. Less expensive at $50. Previously had very good experience with Nelson Hot Spot ($35 case) but most recent  order breaks 2 in 10 shots. Last order had NO breaks in 2000 rounds. Something has changed as accuracy is off also (switched to Stone Cold barrel during day...still had breakage problems of 2 to 4 out of every hopper full). Information is that Flatline works best with small-medium paint. Am surprised manufacturers don't list ball diameters in information blurb. Google search for ball size charts found several, but a lot of contradictory information from one chart to the next. What is your most accurate paint IN THE FLATLINE BARREL.

The flatline was specifically designed with marbs in mind and testing on it was done exclusively with marbs.

The best paint so far is Marbs. You are going to be limited to using good to premium med. paint. See what you can get at the best price. Searching for cheap paint that sorta works usually just keeps your sqeegee busy. Do a search for paint for flatline and get a list of paint you can get and want to try.

I use my flatline in speedball and don't get any funny looks, just must be you.

I use Evils for my flatline.  They are pretty accurate and have few breaks. They usually sell for $84 a case of 2000 though
