Hey everyone....im having a little trouble finding a good second gun .... tryin to find a higher end gun. i am thinking about a karnivor or maybe if i get the money a DM5 or 4. Or maybe even the Evil Pimp since im an evil fanatic. i also looked into the Lasoya intimidator. Please give me an opinion on what kind of gun you would get. just remember ...dont worry about prices.... its not a big issue at the moment. thanks for all the help.... ------------- yes i blow faces off |

get an automag. x-mag to be specific, or just a simple 68 classic with a speedball setup similar to mine (see sig) for a very cheap, great reliable backup. -------------

well the dm4/5 isnt too good on gas u could replace the reg but it still wouldnt be as efficient as others but thats what all day air is for lol. as for the performance very fast very light weight and really sweet overall. on the pics on the net u can tell its not just monstorously big but in real life its incredibly smaller than ud ever imagine. very thin too nice nice gun. Karnivore--nice very fast for a cocker but out of the guns u listed its def. the slowest. of course it doesnt really matter because its still madly fast. very lightweight but not as light as the dm4/5. if u dont have alot of experience with other lower end cockers i wouldnt recommend this and think you would regret it if u got it due to the high maintanence cockers require. Lasoya -- i would go with this. def. as fast as the DYE guns maybe faster it just depends on ur setup and who is using it. i would go with a timmy tho. they seem to be whats hot right now and everybodys buying one (ppl selling brand new dm5s to get timmys). and with the new tadao board coming out soon i can expect sales to rise even more. just go out and shoot all of these guns and see which is best for u and go to ur local shop guy and ask him for the pros and cons of all of these dif. guns and im try and find a good deal on one. for me i was lookin for either an angel or a timmy and since i got a sweethart deal on a timmy that was the deciding factor because i really didnt have a preference over those two guns. good luck shopping and be sure to post pics when u get it.
oh and if u did get an angel like that guy said i wouldnt go with a speed because u can change out the reg on the 05s since its made into the frame like a part of the gun and while it is still really fast sensi isnt that great for ball detection. if u got it and had it FLYed afterwards then it would be good but i wouldnt get it. ------------- Rockin' the Ironman Intimidator. I would go with a smart parts shocker and get new bolt... that for high end. HOW EVER Smarts Parts just came out with a new gun friday and the features are very good looking. Its also VERY CHEAP, to increase preformance all you would need to get is new barrel, hopper, im not sure how good the reg is yet but u might need one of those and also a new bolt (when they come out). The gun is only 285$ at most online places. From the vidoe it look really fast for the price.

Go with the Timmy but get an Alias or Empire. Its lighter and just as fast as a DM4/5. -------------

A alias or a empire timmy. Or posably a 05 speed or a proto matrix. DON'T get a cocker!!! For the fact they are slower than guns that are the same price. yeah, the dynasties are kinda on the heavy side...SP actually had to put more metal on the gun just to put the Dynasty milling on it...when you think about it, it doesn't make sence cause they advertize it to be the lightest marker on the planet...then they go and make it heavier for looks... but that ion is lookin HOT! I say shoot all the guns and see what you like best. However, since you asked for opinions... DM4/5 - Decent guns. They're not the most efficient, but you sure can make alot of paint fly at the other half of the field. I'd never own one myself, just 'cuz I think they're ugly as sin, but that's a personal thing Shockers - Too small for me. When I pick something up, I don't like feeling as if the whole foregrip/reg will come right off if I take a dive. I like something that I know will still be in one piece when I get back up. Plus, the compant that produces them doesn't have a soul. Timmy's in general - Not a fan. I know some people swear by them, but all they really are are Spyders with a new board and some beautiful (in some cases, at least) milling. Cyborg - Never shot one, so no comment Angels - Also pretty nice. I don't like 90* frames, but that can be solved pretty easily. 'Cocker - These are what I'd look in to, personally. They're so upgradeable, and they're just so sexy when that back block starts flyin'. I don't like the 15* back ASA's on the Karnivor or VF-Tac, though. I'm much more of a fan of the 15* fowards, as found on Orry's, Black Magics, or Vertibrates. Also, they have the advantage of being the cheapest. You can pick up a used, Ebladed '03 or '04 vert feed for only about $400 on PBNation. Remember my advice from the start of my post. Choose for yourself, and have fun doing so. If nothing else, it's an excuse to play with about 10k worth of guns for a little while =) -------------

i say go with a dm3, you can get em for like 600 bucks with ups like an evolve bolt kit etc....then u drop another 115 and get the tadao 5.0 with musashi and it will rip faces off of stock dm4/5's ------------- Dust Black/Red DM5, Ultralite Frame, Ultralite Barrel, Orange Bolt Kit, Virtue Laser Eyes |
