This is the third valve you've bought?

How do the threads keep getting stripped if you don't take the valve bolts out and put them back in everytime you disassemble the marker?

my guess is you overtightened to bolts stripping them out. happened to me. you dont need a whole new valve. just a valve body. a valve is $30, a body is $16. its relativey easy to take apart your valve and transplant the parts into a new body. just get a new valve body, and take apart your valve here- http://model98.net/tts1.html - http://model98.net/tts1.html

yea, the guy at the proshop tightned the bolts as far as he could with the allen wrench. so how tight should it be? as tight as the 6 screws used to hold the halves together??? how tight?

its best to first use loctite so they dont need as much tightening, nd thy dont come loose. to tighten- screw them in with you allen wrench so the longer end is in the hole, and your turning the shorter end. that way theres less leverage, and its hard to overtighten. so just screw it in untill it gets hard to do.

I did the same thing with mine when I used one of the sights that is held on by the side screws. I took it to a proshop, and the guy there said it would still be usable but in my next game the other thread got stripped. Just call Tippmann, I got mine free.

Tippmann will send you more than likely a new valve and new bolts. They must keep an excess of parts and don't want to store them. Don't let your proshop moron put them in. Just tighten them slowly until there's some considerable amount of resistance. You don't need to seal them that much. Loc-tite will also allow you to tighten them less. Use yellow, else you're never getting them back out.

Talk to the tippmann service dept, they are excellent and they see their fair share of stripped valve threads.  I've used heli coils once when I stripped my threads, but the heli coil kit was almost as expensive as a bolt so just get a new bolt.  They have to be snug, most times those screws strip because powertube/vert adapter aren't lined up perfectly, some people think the bolts will suck it all together if it's not lined up, but the screws have very little thread and then you end up stripping them.

Only use one finger to put them in if you keep overtightening them. DON'T CRANK THEM AS HARD AS YOU CAN. I would use blue loctite to make sure they stay in.

I stripped mine and just used uber amounts of red lock-tite. Hmmm maybe I'll call Tippmann for a replacement
