There goes my idea....
Here are a few more:
Cut off thumb...
Rear-cocking....
Rocket-cock should do it also...

And just checking, the cocking-rod is hitting your thumb, because the hammer is well inside the marker...

That doesn't make sense. Unless his thumb is not opposable like most humans (I apologize if he doesn't have an opposable thumb).

You have a really tall thumb. Talk to the Tippmann guys and see if they can accomodate you. They want happy customers, so who knows, they may get you a free upgrade.

Paintball Markers don't have hammers, hamers are only on firearms, they slamm down on the percussion cap on a cartridge causing it to discharge, Markers only have bolts and cocking nobs.

paintball guns do have hammers.  it hits  a pin on the  back of the valve.  or you could go by the logic that the  industry dudes call it a hammer, so it must be one, seeing  that they're the ones who made it and all

just take out the cocking knob, and just stick a pencil or stick in the hole to cock it when you need to. it will have the feel of a sealed bolt, and keep the knob wont be there to hit your thumb which makes no sense.

hes right handed and u should learn to hold onto ur rear grip a a little differently u wont drop ur gun as much either and u keep ur thumbs close to the rest of ur hand or mean snipers like me will shoot it(i have done this to trigger fingers quite often)
