its actually up for pre-order what do you guys think? I think they stopped making all the e-bolts so if you want an electric 98 now you have to get a whole new gun Kind of a sellout if you ask me  ------------- Sig is WAY too big. |

It's a 98 Custom with an E-grip. Get over yourselves. They came out with it for people like me who have a very small paintball budget and haven't went electric with their 98 Customs yet and new people who want an electric gun that isn't a Kingman piece of crap. I personaly think that it is great! E-bolts were too expensive anyway. Now you can get a gun, drop (even if it is crappy), a barrel, and the E-grip for the price of the E-bolt itself. Also, all of my upgrades should fit right on, where as if I bought a new marker, all of my upgrades would have to be sold for less than 1/2 what I paid for them. Yeah, I agree. But I feel that the third gun will be a higher end gun. The point of this gun is not to release a completly new marker. I think that this is just a solution to the E-bolt problem. I have no Idea what the supposed A5 Pro will be for or what will be on it, bu I think that the last of the three markers will be much more original than this. i dont understand why they didnt just make a seperate e-grip for the custom. hell, they already had one for the original 98, why not just re-release that. kind of confusing in my opinion, and not a fan of the gun cause come on, this is reincarnation number 2 of the 98. thing i find funny is everyone complained so much even about the custom of how hard it was to field strip, youd think theyd take the incentive to cut the reciever like what most people do who are serious about the maintenance of there 98's. personally i think it wood have been easier just to focus GTA mods for the 98 like the e-grip and better, more efficient, more comfortable, so on and so forth accesories so that sumone could buy the custom and put on what they want. cause come on, tippmann always focused on customization, what do you customize on there really aside from the x chamber or reg. but thats just my opinion. cant wait to see the other guns ------------- A5, egrip, cp barrel kit, check it asa, etc |

listen up.. this gun is not intended for u to sell ur 98c n' get or model 98... its for newer players n' its an introduction to speedball/fast woodsball... also... tippmann will be doing the same thing w/ the a-5 n' have a pro a-5... then they will finally be relasing their gun early next year pwned haha

....I am extremely disappointed. That is unimaginably retarded. All the talk about high end and new designs and whatnot just got flushed down the toilet. The same old feedneck eh? Well have fun with that 12 bps fully auto while I top out at 17 at you with a centerfeed r/t, that doesn't break balls. I hope tippmann isn't serious in the fact that it took an amazing 2 years to come up with that masterpeice. Oh look, they have "CUSTOM PRO" on there, wow, more work for those who want that gone. Can't mill it off anymore. Their next model 98 2 years from now will be a TIPPMANN CUSTOM PRO ADVANCED, with an additional vert adapter and mac line. Ooh, and barrel condom. In my opinion the 98 custom was the perfect gun for noobs, and performed accordingly, with reliability and precision. No need to make improvement number 3 on a longstanding model, it's time for more...please? /end rant |
