You could also check your local sporting goods stores.  I saw a couple at Big Bear earlier today.  When I bought mine I also picked up one of those flip-up lens covers for scopes.  It protects the front of the red dot and the one time I took at hit to my BSA, I just flipped it up and kept using the scope.  (Our field doesn't count marker hits.)

Wal-Mart sells them  just under  $30.00 . couple nice features about the Red-dot sights are , you can actually leave the front optic cover on , and still use it effectively (If your concerned about the lens taking a hit , dont be ) , and second , you can play and shoot with both eyes open , thats the reason and advantage reflex type sights were invented (even tho a red dot isnt a "True " reflex sight , it works like one)
