I was thinkin about how to make a good trigger mod, and then this came to me. What if you could make a magnetic trigger, but not have the magnets push the trigger away, have the magnets pull the trigger towards the gun. Put a small magnet on a stick, toothpic or somethin and put it where the RT would go. then put a magnet with the right polarity (turn it sideways) into the trigger where the RT would hit. I suggest drilling right in the trigger and then having a bit stickout. make sure the magnets dont touch when the trigger is out. or mabe this is a bad idea, o well im only 12

Problem right there.

Forum rules state you must be 13 to come here.

And it wouldnt work because the magnet would pull the trigger in, but you would have to pull the trigger back manually.

this hould be in the paintball ideas section. but w/e

I dont think that wood work. for the reasons that Darur stated

And there is already a mod thats replaces the trigger spring with a magnet.

Good try though keep using that brain.

or hey, I know, we could just put a toothpick in the sear and go FA!!!!!1111!!!11
...or, we could all just aim a little better.

Seriously though, keep using that brain kid.  This idea may not be the best one, but you're thinking, and thats the big hurdle you have to get over.

yeah, once you pulled the trigger the magnets would be stuck and the trigger wouldnt return.

no the sear has nothing to do with any of this, i dont think

but if you keep the finger on the trig theres that metal bar with
the spring that takes in the sears pressure along with the
hammers presure so if that where stiff THEN you would have a
full-auto affect

no hes right if the magnets were strong enough the sear would reset it and...o,no never mind,a magnet cant trip the sear, but if the magnet could trip the sear, then the sear reset the trigger,it would work.not possible tho i dont think

Another point which another forumer pointed out to me is that as soon as you release the saftey the gun would fire.

Not a great idea.

A better excuse would have been that you hit "2" instead of "3"... Anyway, this reminds me of the new "Rocking" trigger for Spyders, they advertise that "anyone can go from no skill to pro skill" . I wonder how many people read that and believed it.

on the subject of magnets...  has anyone messed with a Hall effect trigger for an e-grip?  That just occured to me, I'm going to go do a search and see if its been brought up before.
