Why dont you jus wait till the Pro Custom comes out and then make a comparison between the Ion and the Pro Custom....which one you want use is entirely up to you. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

If you are goin in the woods, the last thing I would get is electronic. They are junk. "Sorry cant play, I have a DEAD BATTERY." Tons of things to go wrong. I can throw my tippmann around and Im not worrying about it breaking. Seriously does everything have to be electronic? You can shoot faster- see if I care how much paint you waste. I can shoot better. Sorry I had to get that out. yes, the ion trigger comes stock with a crappy trigger. but a company if forget the name is making a new trigger for it. lets just say in the near future, this will be the electronic version of the 98 custom. there r gonna b so many upgrades, different colord shells and new triggers, and new eyes, and all this stuff. but the only weak point on the ion is the trigger. and sometimes if not careful u can stripp the threads easily. ------------- I BREAK WALMART BLADES!!! i have no gun right now... i get over 500,000 shots out of my ebolt..... i change the batts once a year just to be safe.......... I DONT RUN OUT OF BATTERIES...... however if you get a sear tripper like the pro e you will run out much faster.... I suggest getting a 98 and finding an ebolt for it, low pressure, no chopping, and quieter operation in addition to longer battery life 98 4 life!!! |

ions are ok. Depends what you play really. Woods, i'd just get a 98 custom. Speed, Ion. i agree that electro+ woodsball =trouble. WHen i play woodsball, my mech cocker gets alot of mud and such on it, because there is a trench in the middle of the field. Also, HPA is an all around good choice. But i think mech autocockers are exelent woodsball markers. That is if your into the whole rambo thing. I would also look into the Wrath. A kid on my team is getting one. Can't wait to shoot it. i'd go with wat boarder2k7 said and get a 98c with an e-bolt...in my opinion way better than an electronic sear tripper, the only prob is finding an e-bolt...ive been looking and havn't found one in good condition -------------

never buy a sear tripper unless u cant get and ebolt into an a5. Always go with the ebolt... I agree with him. Ion is much better than the wrath. More durable. And if you don't like the looks, SP says it will release new body kits. However, the Wrath has break beam eye like the Ion, and can supposedely go 20bps.
