I mean, how can we yell at middle eastern countries for being dictatorships and be friends with Russia while Putin does the same thing? Also, it's nice to see us chillin out a bit on Iran and Syria...That could turn ugly quick and that would really suck....The Germany being more friendly is nice too. Now if we can just get the rest of Europe to help us clean up our Iraq mess and be our friend again we should be set. Oh and handling that whole North Korea thing might be a good idea too....Oh well, I guess Hilary wil have some work to do in '09....and thats just in foreign policy...lol.... -------------  |

Well, in a way what is happening in Iraq and Afganistan has to be completed. I did not agree with the war in Iraq but Bush needs to finish what he started. He said that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction...which they didn't which means that one of his prime fuels for going over there was a flop. No freakin coalition, the US has 150,000 troops in Iraq, BRitan=20,000, and the remaining 30,000 is from those other countries, the US is supporting 2/3 of the troops there, some coalition.
As for Iran and Syria they seem like Iraq did when the US invaded...but the reason Bush isn't going triggerhappy is because we don't have the troops the money and he doesn't have the "backing" anyway woo who |

I Will NEVER see a Women president in my life time... unless some one is Assassinated. But Kudos to Europe.. I Hope Vlad REALLY Helps is out with the Korea "Problem" were having... it must be just me, but I belive the Russians may havea tougher Military then we do... Our Soilders have to worry about politics, and Shooting Children where the Russians just Shoot on command, and ask questions later... thats how the Military should be ran... shoot now ask questions later... not "Wait for them to shoot at us, then we can shoot back" -------------

No there wont be. Even though alot of people, including myself, think she wil be a bad president there are still so many male chauvinists in the world. So even if there was a good woman running for president she would have a slim chance of winning. |

Hillary would be a totall nightmare...she's an admitted socialist, and has as much as said that she is a communist...wow I want that running my country...
The problem is that I don't see a very good individual on the other side either. Condi might be ok, but I'm not really sure that she has her sights on the presidency... Plus racism is still very strong in this country, especially amoung the elderly. I hope to God that Hillary doesn't win anything. Later -------------

I was kinda kiddin about Hilary and I don't know enough about her to
comment as far as that goes but thanks to whom ever said bush was
rebuilding the economy....I needed a good laugh....had some gf problems
earlier....but you don't want to here about that.....Anyway, I don't
understand why someone would say that they would never want a woman
president...They're not chopping wood folks. They're supposed to be
making intelligent, rational, thought-out decisions and playing
politics, and I have never seen anything that suggests a woman wouldn't
be as good as a man in these respects. Hell, I could prolly argue that
a lot of them may be better suited....

Whenever i go to the pentagon. I like stopping by in the compensation office. A lot of the guy in that office are former or current helo pilots. Two of them were in the Black Hawk Down recovery team. Bitting off more than you can chew comes to mind. For democrat to win. You need a sothern, white, male. If you look at the way the US votes. The sothern states will not vote for a woman or a black man. Look at the democrats recently elected. And they are from the south and white protestants. Bill Clinton. As far an im concerned was the first black president. Not because of the scandal thing. But when he would talk with you or shake your hand. He would look at you dead in the face. He wouldnt look at the guy behind you. He would concentrate soley on you. He went around to black churches to speak on sunday. He spoke to the people. In the local vernacular. He didnt cut people out. Thats how he won the elections. Hilary will not win. The south will never elect some bra burning left winger from princeton. Its just not realistic. We were talking about it in my political science class. If a democrat wasnt from the south. They dont vote for them. There are about 3 or 4 of these guys that won. But if the Dem.
