Yeah, a bit out of the normal for a forum mainly populated by teenagers but what's your favorite luxury car?
Here's Mine:
The Chrysler 300c SRT-8

Anyway, I just think this thing looks so fricken cool and really pretty
mean(I wish I could have gotten a front view pic). A lot more so than a
lot of sports cars now days. Plus it's got a 6.1L hemi....I mean,
c'mon....
You?

The Maybach is designed to be driven by a sheauffeur(sp), that's why it has reclining seats. My favorite luxory cars/suvs are the Mercedes Sl65, Range Rover Land Rover HSE, and the new Ferrari F430.

lots of luxury cars are performers. BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes, and many other companies think that luxury should include some performance.
look at this Bugatti Veyron: W16 engine, 1001hp, all time all wheel drive, almost as wide as a hummer, top speed of 250+mph. what else could you ask of a car.

As far as "luxury" goes, I will keep it in the Upper-middle Class's range....
I had the chance to sit in one of these on Saturday and it was sick...only problem was that I couldn't test drive it because it had a "HOLD" tag on it. I did get to take a G35 6spd Coupe w/ Brembo package for as long of a "test drive" as I wanted and alone which is very rare with any car nowadays(know someone at the dealership). It was fun to put it mildly and not to incriminate myself...

So it isn't a nice car or luxury car? I would have no problem buying it(if I could afford it)if it had the Nissan badge on it, its just a marketing campaign for North America like the Lexus and Acura. Does it have to be German or Italian? Not getting your point...

^No, I'm giving you props(respect) on your taste in cars.
I like how most of the Nissan makes look, and there's some nice looking Infinitis also.
But the best thing is the looks ain't their best attributes....they're performers.
I like Nissans, so if I bought a "luxury" car(which I wouldn't), there would be a good chance it would be an Infiniti.
I see how my post could be misinterpreted, but I'm on your side! LOL
Sammy, are you saying that Toyota and Nissan are in cahootz? If so, I'd never heard of that. Or are you saying that Toyota makes Lexus? If so, I knew that.
But if you're saying that Toyota and Nissan are teamed up, and that's true, that's news to me and some pretty crazy stuff.

^I would never look at you funny for saying that....except for a loving kinda look.
The sr20 is a sick engine....it's what powered the car I was talking about when I said I saw a 2 liter 4 cylinder(turbo'd) pushing almost 600HP and over 1200 rear-wheel torque....I've heard a lot of dudes with big-block 8-cyl american motors not getting near that much torque.
I've just had a lot of Nissans around me in my life and they were all good cars, and then I started doing my research and learned that they basically dominate any class they want to.
And then there's the style factor.....I haven't talked to one person who doesn't think the 350Z is a gorgeous car.

I liked nissans old 240z and the 350Z aint bad but i like my domestics better (MUSTANG).
Heck i even love the nissans mini pickups as there pretty good off road
and still have some utility to em though a Nissan cant exactly fit my
bill as i need a bigger truck hance the domestics
preferance.
Although if NIssan or ANY manufacturer sells a SMALL Diesel 4x4 pickup
here ithat manages over 30mpg it will be the vehical to replace my Old
VW Diesel Golf.

^Right on, I was pretty sure that's what you were saying.
I honestly don't think I've ever even seen a 240sx w/twin turbos...that car must be about as fun to drive as it gets!
I know the 300z has a factory twin turbo model...that car is sick! They call it the "Road Warrior" within the inner circles of import racing....it's nuts.
I laugh when people compare a Honda/Acura to a Nissan, thinking they are both lightweight little imports....it's rare to find a Nissan that doesn't weigh over 3,000 pounds.
And they still pull that car with a lot more "get up and go" than any Honda I've drove or rode in.
My sister's first car was a 1987 Nissan Sentra that she sold for about $500 when she was ready for a new car...the car had about 300,000 miles on it, and she firgured she did good by just getting $500 out of it before it broke down. Well, the car is still driving! Her next car was a 1991 Nissan Stanza, and she bought that with 90,000 miles already on it. She still has the car, and it has well over 500,000 miles on it! The motor mounts were wearing out and the original engine was still running like a top.
Like I said I drive the '95 Altima, and my buddy owns a 1995 Maxima, 1995 240sx SE, and a 1992 Dodge Stealth VR4(twin turbo, all-wheel steering, all-wheel drive).
The Dodge Stealth is an absolutely sick ride, but it's a race car...it's not reliable enough for everyday driving. Plus it's a gas hog.
The 240sx is rear-wheel drive, so it's not really as safe, but you can get "sideways" in that sucker like nobody's business, it saves gas like crazy, and it has plenty of power to move that car when it needs to.
When it comes to fun to drive, it is really hard to beat a Nissan.
