Which type of stock should I get Solid, or Colapsiable? Also which brand of remote coil is good? oh, and also im going to play woodsball. |

1. I don't know, what type do you want? I prefer folding or collapsable so that if you get crammed into tight spaces you can retract/fold your stock up and add manuverability. 2. I have a PMI 3. Me too! ------------- -Wild |

Colapsiable is what I have it works great. I have a 36* remote it works fine. and if you need a good barrel the Lapco bigshot works good |

Most Collapsable stocks are almost all plastic and can easily break. I know a few people who broke theirs by running it into a tree. Folding is the best in my opinion. Extremly durable, very compact when folded, and just all around better to me. 32* remotes are fine too. -------------

I got mine off of ebay for like 30 bucks. It is made of plastic yes, but its ballistic grade ABS stuff. This is the same stuff that Tapco uses for their very popular M-16 accesories. your choice really, it does sorta also depend on what position you play., Back/Mobile Heavy gunner (hammer)/ Ambusher or snipers and Heavy riflemen Broadswords might want a solid stock. otherwise go with collapsible stock...

There is really no 'bulk' associated witha paintball stock... The
weight is neglible, and they can be compact in the case of a car stock.
A paintball marker will never be as bulky or heavy as a real firearm,
and those can still be used VERY effectively in any situation. If
you're uncomfortable with the weight or size of a marker, the problem
is mor elikely with the user than the marker. Now, that beign said, whether a stock is NECESSARY is another matter. I'll admit that in speedball it's probably better to go without. In woods or recball though, the ability to steady the shots into your shoulder is far worth the extra size on the marker. ------------- "Abortion is not "choice" in America. Besides talking about car stocks, there is one lil problem that people have when using a stock of any type when installed into a paint marker, "your mask" you wont be able to aim down on the sights without using a raised sight rail ($40-$50) and use whatever aiming device one chooses but, there is one type of stock that is available and very easy to install,....its called a T stock or a gas-thru stock which is mounted to the bottom of the pistol grip and wit this, you can look down on the sights on the marker (with a mask on) and also with the T stock performs jus like any other type of stock out there. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

"Stocks will weigh you down", "Your arms will wear out"!?!? Please tell me you're joking. Go to your local gym. Purchase a membership- I don't care what it costs; if you're in such dire straights that a stock on your amrker willw ear your arms out, you need this more than you need almsot anything else right now. Honestly, that's the single most pathetic excuse for not buying a stock I've ever heard. No person in a society with such plentiful, healthy food should be that ridiculously weak, not unless they're posessed of the body of a toddler. A stock can get in the way- that's absolutely true. A raised sight rail goes for maybe $20 at most. Lapco Direct has several models for 98s and A5s. An offset sight rail would do the job quite nicely, or you can simply get one that adds vertical height to the marker. Good masks like the Profiler, and JT Flex series will make it easier to use sights as well. A T-stock is a great compromise. Lapco has those too. http://www.lapcodirect.com A stock will improve your accuracy. It stabilizes the marker, and adds an anchoring point to your grasp- Rather than the center of gravity on the marker being a point on which the marker can pivot unstably in your hold, it will become a control point from which you can precisely aim the amrker, ebcause the end of it is firmly in your shoulder. Having taken cover behind all manner of things in the woods with a variety of real weapons, I assure you a stock is relatively little inconvenience, certainly compared the the benefits it offers in terms of accuracy. If it's REALLY that inconvenient, get a folding stock that folds right up into the marker. You can even get some that extend or dip downwards, giving you room for your head to use the sights. There's really no excuse not to use somemanner of stock in the woods... ------------- "Abortion is not "choice" in America. But, yet you failed to say that you do use a stock on your marker, hence the comment that "it will weigh you down and that your arms will wear out"....till you get a stock and use it then, you can say what you know about using a stock.... and here is some words of the wise: dont put your 2 cents in if you dont know what you are really talkin about and jus like what Brihard jus stated in his post....working out in a gym is part of the training we all do to stay in shape for a game regardless if the game is speedball or woodsball. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

You don't even need t work out at a gym... when you roll out of bed in
the morning, do some pushups. Find a kid's park nearby with a abr you
can do chinups and pullups off of. You can do tricep dips off a chair,
or anything. Basic physical conditioning is key to any sport. You don't
have to be a superman to carry a paintball marker- hell, I'm 5"9 and
153lbs and I carry around an M249 SAW with no problem, never mind a
98C. If you relaly find bearing the weight uncomfortable, then rig up
some kind of sling. The Car stock has sling loops in the back. A rifle
sling can be bought dirt cheap at WalMart and rigged to your marker no
problem. It also lets you hand the marker off your neck so you have
both hands free if necessary, or say you want to sling our marker to
