i am in the market for a gun i have always wanted an AMG but i also like the A-5.  i like the amg and i would get the gun, loader, and barrel if i get it. if i get the A-5 then i would get gun and barrel.  eventually i would upgrade both of them (a-5 all your usual senario goodies  amg t-board w/ eyes bolt spring shim etc.) .   i only play woods and senario but we have been known to play a random game of speedball just to waste some ammo at the end of the day...you know how it is.  if you select other then the gun alone must be under 250 seeing as how i get paid again in mid march and i will have 3 paychecks going towards this (total of about 350-400) , the "other" gun must have been out for longer than 6 months (no ions...still a skeptic), must be efficient, good to extreme range and no flashy colors (alittle chrom doesnt hurt but is not perferred).  thanks for your votes and please give reason behind voting.  remember your votes kinda sorta count.

The amg is one of the best sypders because it operates at a lower pressure so it has less kick and such..Both are great guns but I would take the uped amg over the upped tippmann

a lot of the new spyders are low pressure. any spyder can be changed  over to low pressure and my rodeo came stock low pressure.  im gonna let this post go on  a little longer to see what the final results are.  again please give reasoning behind voting.

Go for the A-5, the thing simply cannot be beat for all around reliability and performance.  It does come with its own special hopper, but the stock barrel really does not perform very well.  Get yourself a new barrel, and maybe and E-grip and you will be good to go.

If you want extreme range nothing can remotely compare to a flatline, and though when stock the A-5 is a bit of a gas hog if you add a regulator or X-Chamber that problem is alleviated.

And if you really want low pressure, tippmann does put out a good kit for the A-5.

When I had my a-5 I was not impressed with my cycolne it did jam and chop alot.  Flatlines do not add that much range and when you are hit from the extra range the paintballs tend to not break... Sypders dont break, I dont know where you guys get that from.  I have never seen a sypder break and they are easy to work on as well.  Its prefernce.  Do you want to shot fast or not have to worry about your gun at all that is what it comes down to.  I will give you that you cant throw a sypder in the mud and have it still work...

i have 2 spyders and both of them even with sping kits in them get out shot by a 98c.   i am going to go with either the 98c or an a-5...it mainly all depends on how much money i have in mid march i am predicting around 320ish maybe more and by that time i will decide which i will get but it is between a 98c, revy, and barrel....or an a-5 and a barrel.  the barrel for either has to be relatively cheap so im leaning towards either a progressive 16, teardrop 14, or the longest jj ceramic.  any advice on these barrels would be greatly appriciated. thanks.
