Only 1 noteworthy event, Queen's Hospital cornerstone was laid. So unless something cool exploded, I'm stumped. HAwaii was annexed in the spanish american war, but I forget when that was. I'll get back to ya. |

| Well, here is my take on it...It was after missionaries came and tried to convert them to christianity that was in the 1830s...It could have something to do with postage stamps??? or it could have been settlement of water disputes...NO the QUEEN'S HOSPITALS FIRST CORNERSTONE WAS LAID IN PLACE I THINK???? |
