Would installing a pressure guage help me out any?

If I do install one what would the advantages be?

you'd know the input pressure, so if you were running low pressure you would know where it is so you dont blow any internals or damage the regulator.

but for tippmanns.... A Gauge would be kinda pointless, they can take up to 2500psi before the internals give way.
