I'd open your options up a bit.

What are you looking for in terms of features? I imagine you play speedball so let me throw the System X NME and System X Vengeance 4.0 on the table for you.

As far as the markers you listed go.. does the Impulse have an anti-chop eye? btw the Orracle is an Autococker too.

If a cocker needs to be timed it's not a huge deal. I would take the Orracle.. then the Impulse. But with more options I would take the NME before either and I would take the Impulse 2nd and the Vengeance 4.0. Just so you know the System X Vengeance is an autococker.

the only reason i said autococker, is because im not sure exactly what it is, which is a **edited** sketch.  im finding out from the dealer if it has the anit-chop eye, assume that it does for now. thanks

hopper? Viewloader eVLution or Halo B. None other.

Halo B is a little less annoying because the VL has a wierd neck and is kind of awkward but it works really well.

Try to ignore all the ION posts flying around. People are gonna learn it's not that great.

ok, im new to these kinds of guns, so im gonna sound like a newb but, can the impulse run with CO2 or am i gonna have to spring for N20 or HCA?

yeah it CAN run on CO2 but not that great. you'll want to buy an anti siphon if you use CO2. I'd really look into Nitro though..

co2 won't be horrible but you will be missing out on a lot of performance. these things shoot fast and CO2 gets really cold inside your gun and can cause some damage.

ok, an anti-syphon wont be too expensive tho will it? i really just the fact of being able to own an IMPULSE a gun that is usually way out of my price range, and for N20, i have to drive for about 45 minutes.  But the orracle comes with a  68/3000 Pure Energy tank.

even if the orracle comes with a tank you need to drive out to get a fill.

grab the impulse.. save up for N2 maybe or find a closer fill spot.

ok, couple more questions (i know newb, but ive just gotten into speedball recently)  do i get an anti-syphon for the orracle? and is the orracle still better than the impulse even tho its mech. and the impy is electro? also, how hard is mantenance (sp?) for these ?

also, do you know if the warp feed will fit on these markers?

there's nothing wrong with Mech markers. I swear by them. If you want to run CO2 in it you'll want an anti siphon still. they are cheap.

maintenance isn't bad. read up on timing.. but chances are you won't have timing trouble. if you do it's NOT hard to fix. maintenance is like any other gun. keep her oiled.

in the future if you want that orracle to go faster there are worrblades and eblades.

I'll keep it civil for now but stop being such a fanboy already. IONS aren't special.

I've owned a System X cocker. They are better than IONS. Especially modified.

Good choice. btw why do you have to go so far for a fill? I imagine any tire shop could fill you up.

Walmart does me for free.

im not sure if uve bought anything yet but if u havent then look around a bit cuz ebay isnt always the best place to buy a gun - check http://www.pbnation.com - www.pbnation.com or http://www.pbstar.com - www.pbstar.com for some people selling their guns.  Also if u look at some of the threads it might answer some of ur questions about the guns.  2k4kev and mad psience kno a good deal about these kind of guns but remember ur on a tippmann forum so there are a lot of newbs that can give u wrong advice.
