If I put burlap around my barrel will it affect its accuracy? I don't think it will because the burlap has lots of holes in it so the co2 can escape easilt. What do you think? I will be testing it out this weekend.

In that movie, isn't it illegal to paintball that close to those buildings?

Well, isn't it possible that he just got shot by some off camera dude, and made it look like he got shot by the ''sniper".  If it was a constant video it would be more convincing.

what was the song in the background of that slideshow?

webster dictionary does define snipe as  to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage

but i will not argue that what there is no such thing asa person who hide 500 feet away from a target and does anythign sucessfully

I dunno, that slideshow was decent, but you could see them really easily most of the time. The guy getting shot, of course it's staged.

I dont see how burlap on a barrel means you are trying to be a sniper.

I have large amounts of jute on my barrel, I use it to intimidate newbs.

And that is what you call fun? I couldn't lay in the grass all day and shoot one guy. If in fact he was shot by them.

sorry to bring back an old thread but i want to say somethings......

1. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didnt exist; that is what he and the paintball sniper have in common
2. the buildings are on the company's property most likely
3. The song is Minstrel Boy by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros (cover of an old irish song)
4. Now im assuming that most of the people who said snipers don't exist are speedballers/tourney players (im not starting a woods speedball argument here)so you probably dont get around to playing in the woods as much. Well i have played 95% of my games in the woods and have both sniped (even when i didnt go out as a sniper)and been sniped. You can't tell someone who has done this that snipers dont exist. It hard to come by a real good sniper because of a lot of wannabes who cut up green tshirts for a ghillie suit.

Yeah, and also, another gripe i had with that video. A real sniper would have dragged his gun behind him in whats called a drag bag. Cawling through the brush with your gun like he had it is a great way to say "Hey! Here i am!" And if brush or dirt gets in your barrel it will ruin your shot. That whole slide show was stupid. Still no snipers, but they were the closest thing ive seen to a sniper, the only reason ile concede they are "paintball snipers" is because they are being a snipers in a militiary context carrying out a military exersize

if i see a guy shoot a paintball 1000 yards and hit someone ill admit hes a sniper, other wise we all aim and shoot at each other in the reaching distance of a paintballs range

Yep, im still hesitating in saying hes a sniper, because its very clear he was not trained as a sniper. He made a lot of mistakes in his stalk. And his gun was basic tan or whatever that was. Not good.

you're comparing paintball snipers to real snipers. Its impossible to shoot a paintball 1000yards at the velocity limit
