dude, how can you even compare the epiphone to a gibson? Thats just ludacris! I have an epiphone/gibson les paul and thats really nice, great tone. If money is no object, Gibson, ofcourse. They tend to be higher quality
than Epiphones, but there are still some junky Gibson's out there. However, if you're a beginner and don't know if guitar is going to be a long-term hobby, don't over-invest on an expensive guitar. An epiphone, or any other cheaply made guitar, will suffice. |

hey man there are some nice epiphones out there and some **edited**ty gibsons my cousins friends gibson....the headstock broke off then he took it to get it fixed and it snapped off again in the bag then my cousin busted out the epoxy im comparing a high level epiphone with a lower level gibson not like a hi level epiphone with a hi level gibson ------------- anti: flatline egg 2 fender guitars cyclone xbox live gamertag:fall3n 5nip3r steam tag:fallen sniper ADD ME!!! Fair enough. There are some higher quality/priced epiphones out there. Whatever suits your needs/desires should be the guitar you choose. But, if I were buying a new guitar, I wouldn't choose a Gibson, but I definitely wouldn't choose an Epiphone |

ESP. But out of the two, the Gibson. Why would you even compare those two? If it was two gibsons I would understand, but that is like comparing two totally different levels of guitars. -------------

That depends. Not a matter of quality, just of preference. I don't like Gibson's designs. I have quite a few guitars at the moment. The last one I bought was a Rickenbacker (don't know what model). I tend to buy used guitars off of friends, anyways. New guitars are too expensive. |

werd...ESP's are nice...unless you have the money to get one of those guitars that Tom Petty plays...im not sure what the name is...but ive played it...and its better than gibson...by far.
