Yeah the SS are more durable. I got the aluminum though, because its going to be hard to break the inserts, where they are inside the back. ------------- You call the Eagle, Eagle does the rest. |

super chromium is the best material for barrels.
i can hit a dime at 100 yards with one. ask anyone that has a super chromium if you can find them about accuracy |

No, aluminum is usually stickier than stainless steel. Its a trade off between weight/durablity and acuraccy.
