I am wondering which barrel would be good to increase accuracy other than the flatline cause i am new to this sport and i don t feel like doing alot of maintenance due to the flatline so what would be the next best barrel

There are ways to increase your accuracy other then with a barrel. If you have a more consistant volecity it will make you gun more accurate. This can be attained through an expansion chamber, regulator, or HPa if you have the Cash. A good barrel is a great plae to start though and depending on how much money you want to spend you could get a J&J ceramic, Lapco bigshot, or a teardrop. Oh and btw welcome to the fourms

Also what would be the best length for the barrel i'm leaning towards the j and j but still would like your input. Also wouldnt the ceramic barrel break really easy forgive if thats a stupid question i'm a newb.

The Empire Twister is pretty good.  It is rifled so it is really accurate.  Also, the Flatline doesn't require that much maintanence.  If you break a ball, though, in a game, you HAVE to clean it or you are screwed becuse the accuracy gets really bad.  Fortunately, it is really easy to clean.  Just turn your gun updside down, fire it to clear the chamber, and shove a Battle Swab down the barrel.  After that, you'll be ready to go.  They are kinda hard to install, though.  Just take it up to your local paintball shop and have them install it.  Also, if your gun needs to be clean and you don't know how to, again, just take it up to your local paintball shop and have them clean it.  I love my Flatline.  I can outrange anybody at my local field, except others with Flatlines.  They are also very accurate, especially on the distance you get.

The J&J barrel is still made from Alluminum.  It has a ceramic and teflon coating inside the barrel to make it slicker for the paintball....less friction.  It has the same strength as any other barrel.  The ceramic coating in the barrel is what allows you to shoot through a broken ball and it cleans itself......no squeegie required.

All I was saying is read the stickies before you post.

When you've been here for as long as I have and you keep seeing the same question asked over and over again it starts to tick u off. Especially when it all can be prevented with a little bit of reading.

I admit I flew of the handle so as an apology here is an excerpt of the sticky I am referring to. You will see that it explains alot about barrels.

1-      BARREL LENGTH- For the most part, the length of your barrel does not affect accuracy. A paintball needs about 7.5-8 inches of barrel to stabilize, and to be truthful, after that, you are using more of your air source (co2, n2, or HPA). So, the longer the barrel, the A- more air you use and B- the more you have to turn up your velocity. This should help to eliminate questions asking “How long should I order my barrel?” Although, once again, I will say there is nothing wrong with asking questions, after you search. I will list some decent barrels for decent prices. (Note-I know I am not naming all of the barrels.)

J+J Ceramic

Stiff!

All American

Tear Drop

Progressive

Abrades

Quit Riot

Nite Stik

Stealth

Big Shot

Boom Stick

Freak Kit

Freak Junior

Evil Pipe

Flat line - A-5

Flat line - 98 Custom

BARRELS YOU WILL WANT TO STAY AWAY FROM

GTA Sniper Barrel

Thunder Pig Barrels

You were totally in line. People need to read the stickies and they will find that their exact same questions, word for word, are answered in the sticky.

Man you guys sure do complain a lot. I mean if your tired of reading the same old questions over and over again then don't go to question on subjects you dont want to answer. If your tired of answering questions on what barrel someone should get dont go to a topic named "what barrel should I get" lol man you guys need to chill out a little. I can tell there are a lot of youngsters on here lol.
