An A-5 is simply a 98C with a Egg2.  Dont waste the extra cash.

The A5 is easier to maintain (field stripping).

Anyway, Ebay is the cheapest. Try 888paintball.com also.

As many have mentioned, eBay is full of deals. I'm actually quite an advocate of eBay. ALL my gear was purchased there. Had I purchased my gear the conventional way(Stores) I would have paid a bundle for what I have. If you do decide to go the eBay route however, there's a couple things to remember. First, ensure that the peeps you deal with are reputable sellers. Check their feedback rating. If they arent above 95% I usually dont touch em. They can sell 20,000 items and still suck. Second, if ya got a question, don't be afraid to shoot em an e-mail. If they don't reply in a timely manner, move on to someone else. Third, be sure to thoroughly compare wares and prices so you get the most killer deal possible. If ya ever got any questions bout eBay, shoot me a message and ill answer as best I can. Take care bud and hope you score that A-5 ya want.
