i have been playing paintball for awhile, and whenever i play it is usally below 60 or above 80 degrees outside (most of the time below 60) so i need to know what nitro tank is best for about 500-2000 paintballs so i need the: the name of the tank the brand what other accessories i need with it and the cost (if i am missing somthing else please tell me) thanks in advance - fly98c ------------- you never know if you can do something until you try. if you don't try you will never know |

Fair weather only, eh? You could go for a smaller psi rating (3000 psi) which would give you less shots per fill, but much more affordable around the 100 dollar range. Also, make sure you purchase a High Output tank (800 psi) for it to work properly with your gun. You don't really need any other accessories. Some people get a secondary regulator to help with consistency, but it's a minute difference. You'd only really need one if you get the Comp-Air system (also called Low Pressure Kit *LPK*), which is a highly optional upgrade. Most say its effects are negilible, others say its worth it. As for brands, Crossfire is common. I use a Nitro Duck Tuff Skin 4500 psi tank. It has an extra coating around the carbon fiber to help protect it. Oops- you do need one accessory. You'll need a tank cover IF you get a 4500 psi tank (or a 3000 psi carbon fiber). The best tank cover is the Dye Rhino, and another popular one is the Redz tank cover. 3000psi will give 10 shots per cubic inch. But this is just a very rough estimate. To find shot capacity do tank CI x 10 for 3000psi. x by 15 for 4500psi. -------------

He means multiply it by how many cubic inches. If 48 cubic inches, multipl it by however many was recommended per psi. So if it's a 45ci 3000psi, 45 x 10. I think ------------- http://imageshack.us">

For a 68/3000, around or less than 650. 68/4500- around 1000. -------------
