I recently purchased a Tippmann A-5 Response trigger and installed it exactly as the instructions said.  Now the reason why I'm unsure if it's working or not, is for a few reasons.  When turning the adjusting screw all the way in, the trigger pull does not get "extremely hard or near impossible" to pull.  It feels about the same as the standard trigger pull before the RT was installed.  Another thing, the best I have been able to tune my gun to was about one burst of five balls per second when I turn the screw half counter clockwise from all the way in.  Doing that, the trigger pull becomes lighter but the sweet spot is really hard to find and when you do find it, you burst five balls and then it stops.  And lastly, after turning the screw about 3/4s of a turn counter clockwise or more, the trigger pull remains light but the sweetspot is just about impossible to find.  It almost seems like it's not working properly.  I really don't mind a five ball burst but thats about all I can get.

So my questoin is, is my response trigger working properly and if not, what could be the possible problems?  Please be more detailed than "field strip your gun".  It's just that I'm fairly new to the RT system so I'm not even sure what to expect.  Thanks.

My tank wasn't low at all.  But when shooting it, I did notice the tombestone adapter getting very cold.  Any ideas?

Your CO2 may well be the problem. Try a good expansion chamber. Dead on Paintball x-core 8-chamber expansion chamber is a favorite of the forum. I used a 32* '03 6-stage x-chamber. The bob longs are also pretty good.

not quite the same, but it is worth a try, the thing to understand is that first of all CO2 is somewhat unpredictable if it isn't truly stabalized, and second of all, no 2 RT's are the same, keep playing with it till you find the right adjustment. I must have shot a couple cases of paint before getting mine just perfect...then I upgraded to E-grip pretty funny i know
