new bills that will put more info about child sex abuse cases in schools, to the public. i think its a good idea we'll see what the senate will do.

Under current law, school districts can withhold release of employee disciplinary records for convicted felons, if they deem the harm to an individual outweighs the public benefit.

SB 755 would make the public files release automatic, after the employee is convicted.

This won't prevent the abuse, but it will enable parents and others to learn how a Billera-type incident could occur, Walker said.

I like that part.
