I hadn't seen this posted yet, but I may be wrong.
The kid had a http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0323051weise1.html - flash animation of a shooter picking off people and police in a park before killing himself. It's fairly creepy to see and to know he then went through with it. That kid needed some serious help. -------------

Haha, even after his death, he doesnt get any respect. I am not saying he deserves any but to be picked on you entire life can cause people to commit such trageties.
Maybe if kids were to show more respect to one another they wouldnt shoot each other up on both the street and in schools. -------------

I'd imagine that to him they weren't people at all. I think he was shooting at objects of frustration, breaking objects and not killing people. It was probably very cathartic for him. -------------

Sure it can. But the trick is consistancy. And nowadays, people scream abuse when they see a mom smack their son at the supermarket. Would never fly for a teacher to hit their students. All your teaching is that pain will be inflicted if you break the rules/ show disrespect. Then the child questions why it is okay for Mom and Dad to hit then, but they cant cant hit someone for mouthing off to them.
Respect is treating others nicely because you want to not because a fist is going to be bashed into your nose if you dont. -------------

Maybe he should have stoped being an angsty antisocial douche and talked to people more? Yeah his dad died and his mother got brain damage after drinking and driving but still, **edited** happens and you move the hell on with life. It is hard to deal with yes, but you have to get over it eventually. I believe that if he would have interacted instead of allowing himself to be an outcast his ENTIRE life, this could have been prevented. He also posted on nazi forums, which was most likely due to being a mixed race outcast.
Hades: Why should we respect him? He proved to us that he doesnt deserve our respect because he couldnt overcome people making fun of him. Guess what? I get made fun of from time to time, and i brush it off because i will never see these assholes again (or its done by friends, in which case we go back and forth with insults for a while). Everyone gets made fun of now and then, you have to deal with it and take it with a pinch of salt (or whatever that expression it). Ok, in my opinion, yes he did. He was antisocial his whole life, while if he had just taken the time to make friends, none of this probably would have happened. Being antisocial isnt a disease or anything, its just that you are scared of people. In order to grow up, you have to overcome this fear. He didnt, for one reason or another, and that cast him out, causing him to be made fun of and people to lose respect for him. ------------- ///AMG What? |

Being shy/anti-social doesnt give everyone a free ticket to pick on you. How many classmates of his do you think could have related to what he had gone through. Losing both your parents at a young age. I am not making excuses of what he did this past week, but I still dont see any reason why he should have been picked on. Maybe if his schoolmates had reached out to him instead of picking on him there would have been one less school shooting. -------------

Of course it was ME! God, this kid was TRYING to be antisocial, look at his MSN page thingy. His interests are killing? His ocupation is doormat? Hes trying to be an outcast so he can fit in with his social group. He looked up to these kinds of actions. Went to hate sites, watched movies where the jocks and people got their comupuns via a school shooting. Screw him, he isnt worth the bullet he shot himself with. If some kid is going to take a gun into a school and shoot an unarmed guard and six students because he is teased, he will get no sympathy from me, kids tease, in school there is a natural pecking order, the big guys punch out the little guys. You never got punished when you were little? You pour paint all over the couch by accident or something like that, you get punished, usualy it was no tv for week or i had to do dishes for a month, but on ocasion, my mom got out this belt, and slaped my legs with it.
