Pretty cool, clean her up, maybe repaint it even. Get a new hopper deffinately. If you're getting a Halo, that's mad cool, so no worries there. In my opinion, Slipknot sucks, but the world would be boring if we all liked what I liked, now wouldn't it?  The barrel doesn't really matter as long as its accurate, so who cares?

It looks kinda bad, but not too bad.
Why would you rather have a vert feed w/ such a lousy hopper than the Cyclone? I mean, the cyclone is freakin SWEET. It has a high feed rate AND it's low profile. Slipknot DOES suck. But I imagine they have a few good songs. I think there's one that goes "I felt the air rise up beneath....(something something...)". I remember thinking that that was a pretty good one. And don't EVER point a marker at a person when they don't have a mask on. Even if it's not loaded. The basic rule is: A gun (any gun) is ALWAYS loaded. Egrip won't work. You replaced a high feeding cyclone, for a gravity fed system, which we all know can only keep up with semi auto. Your feed stack is way too small to make any difference. And rear cocking?

I agree w/ ms2013 (along with several others) in that the forum has been going WAY down hill.
However, I didn't find andy's post particularly offensive. If he has a strong oppinion, he should be allowed to voice it. Would it have been any better if he said "That's the absolute worst looking gun I've ever seen"? I think not. It may be a cruel thing to say, but it is still an honest and legitimate oppinion. Does that make him a "jerk"? Maybe, maybe not. But answer me this; What is the point in having a forum for opinions if you have to sugar-coat/sensor your answers? The only way to fix this problem, is to get some Moderators back. Don't get me wrong ms2013, we appreciate your effort to combat flaming on the forum, but it is my opinion that calling people "Kids, jerks, and phallic organisims" is not going to fix anything, and is just gonna make these people angry. Honestly, I found your repremanding FAR more offensive than Andy's infractions. As for the Moderators, I don't know if we can get them back. But if there's someone out there reading this that can give administrative powers over the forum, PLEASE DO IT. Find some good people that are on on a regular basis, send them an email, and sign them up. If you'd have me, I'd be willing to serve as a mod (not saying that I deserve it or anything, but we NEED Mods, and I'm willing). besides of course, the easiest tear down and stripability. simplicity of design, the durability of tippman, unbelievable customer service, the ability to upgrade a lot to make it whatever you want.... but yeah... the cyclone was the only good part, considering it stops working when you're low on air, but still have enough to get plenty of shots off at the same velocity, and it craps out in cold weather a lot, can chop paint, and isn't necessarily "the fastest" out there.  |

I personally don't like the fact that you took off the cyclone but that is just me, I like the fact that you took some time and effort to be unique. wow...yall are stupid...like...seriously...you suck...and im not talking to the dude with the vert a-5...im talking to all of you who put down his music, sterotyped him as a goth, and downed his ideas on what HE wants his a-5 to be like...there for...you, my friends, are the ones who truly suck...this isint about him, his bands, how hes like, or who he is...its about his gun, nothing else...so leave the discution to that... now to rate your marker...alot of people have said "why lose the cyclone and put that crapy loader on, dosent make scence" well obviously these people cannot read past the pre k level...he says on the first post...that hes getting a halo b...which will be better, in my oponion, speed ball tourneys and ext., and probly wouldnt be all to bad for woodsball either...yes...your marker does need a cleaning...but after shes all cleaned up you should mabye repaint it...black again if you want...but use a metalic or gloss paint...so it will have a better look for a speedball marker, and while your at it heres an idea... since you like slipknot, you can paint your marker, then go find a window sticker, or even a normal sticker, and put it on your marker, get 2 though so you can have one on both sides to even it out, and then throw like 2-3 clear coats over the body to protect the sticker...and you can even add more bands to it before the final clear coating if you would like...sine im sure slipknot isint the only band you like... and i experiment on here with posts about music alot...and it seems that no one is really open minded enough to keep from just sayin a band sucks...what i would like to know is who they listen to then? its true eveyone likes difrent music...but that doesent mean that you have to go around downing everything that you dont like...other people do like them...and if you wanak now the truth...people who listen to slipknot and other bands of that type have the lowest percent of people who insult bands that they dont listen to...while people who listen to pop and rap and hip hop seem to have a much higher rate of insultiong everyone else for the music they listen to...all im trying to say is...if you see somone with a patch on their shirt or something...like in this case...and the topic isint about bands but about the marker the person is holding in their hands...then keep that on topic...if you have something nice to say about the music then say it...but dont say anything rude...just say nothing at all...because that just makes people angry and what do you wana tick off your fellow paintballers on here? theres no reason...we are all like friends on here...right? we help eachother out and everything...so dont make eachother mad...its stupid...just keep your bad ideas about a band to your self if its off topic... i give the marker currently a 6-10 and when its done 10-10 ! -------------

Hey, i am changing my oppinion on his setup, it is growing on me, i like the vert feed cause now you are limited to the BPS of the hopper and what ever you can get to make the gun the best it can be, Clean it up and keep on trucking bro. Get a HPA tank and you will be golden also the E-grip witch i said on my previous post. I would like to know how you did the vert cause I will buy some more upgrades if i could find out how to do that. 7/10 when complete 10/10 P.S. Don't ever point the gun at a guy when he has no mask (saftey precaution) |

im confused lol, isnt the point of a red dot sight to see through? maybe
im just goin crazy so besides the fact the red dot seems useless and i hate the sight rail, and cus ur using CO2 (ewwy lol) and cus thats a gross blue macro line and cus the gun its still white patchy in places and cus its a stock barrel and cus its a gross stock hopper i could go on........ i give it a 4/10 for upgrade wise (maybe a three) and a 9/10 on originality (if u want a vert fed a5 u can get one ... its called a RDI 98C (rufus dawg 98)) nice start... just make the feedneck lower and replace that yucky stock barrel and the sight rail... (useless with vert feed...) and for INSANEABOUTA5... i hate you -------------  |

lets face it people...the a-5 is a great gun...but its limited by the cyclone...alot...since the egrip can hit 23 bps...and the cyclone can only do 18 at best max...theres a 5 bps diff...and that 5 bps can save your little butt in a speedball tourney against angels and shockers and other markers shooting at 20+bps...sometimes in order to beat something you have to become it...and in this case he wants to beat speedball markers, or thats how it seems to me, without loosing his a-5...because he loves it...and his marker is probly just dirty becuase he was playin a game eariler or something...after i play a few rounds my marker has paint all over it too...anyway...its really simple...hes making a speedball a-5...so get off his back already...becides most of you couldnt make a a-5 a vert let alone a rear cocking... -------------

swweeet....if i was going for a speed ball a- 5 i would of gotten rid of the cyclone feed system also. i hate the way the a- 5 hoppers look.

The egrip can not hit 23 BPS. The halo cannot consistently feed 23 BPS. If you were in a tourny against angels and shockers, chances are you wouldnt be using an A5 with co2, a shake hopper, and blue macroline. Its not that he wants to beat speedball markers without losing his A5, because he bought it like that and didnt take the cyclone off himself. We couldnt make a vert A5, but neither can he. And the rear cocking has no point... does it give you an advantage in speedball to have a little knob that travels back and forth on the back of your gun? |

lol...i read on another topic on here where several people said that the egrip can reach 23 bps...all i know is what i read and see so far about tippmanns... and another thing...yea...my raptor is made by brass eagle...but 7 years ago brass eagle was how tippmann is today...they were the super tuff woodsball guns that were compeating with the ranks of mini mags and spyders...its a classic with a good history behind it...you really should appriciate what brass eagle contributed to the game...their rainmaker then was like a shocker today...they are very high quality and have great performance for how old they are...becides...you would be LUCKY if you ever got the chance to play with one...there are not alot of them left in the world in the condition mine is in...you need to grow up a little kid... -------------

lmao...prepare to get owned dude...there are no pictures of me and my raptor in existance...and never were...and my raptor isint just some stock one...there are some key mods that make it much better then a stock one...also...raptors and other blow back classics were major steping stones in the world of paintball, im not gona try and say that the autococker wasnt...because it was...they re great markers...but that dosent mean that just because i own a raptor that i dont know anything about any other marker...has the though ever crossed your little mind that mabye i dont have the money to offord a a-5 yet? sorry...but not all the people who play paintball have alot of money...i have to make the best with what i have...and the raptor is what i have...im am no longer going to continue this with you, your ignorance is quite annoying -------------

alrighty... first of all... i don't believe the e-grip can hit 23
bps... unless its uncapped or someone got another board in there.
The cyclone would feed that fast if need be, but the chances of it
becoming a blender are pretty high. Second, good luck pulling 18 on the e-grip. Hell, good luck pulling that fast on any other high end gun with out any bounce in the switch or ramping. Most players in the game don't pull that fast even if they're playing with *gasp* angels and shockers. Ever watched nxl games?... they allow ramping up to 15 bps... 15 shots in one second is damn fast. faster than anyone might think. I have shot an rt pro mag, bko, rat impuls, trix, freestyle, shockers, and i could only hit 14 over chronoes sometimes 15... I'm not saying pulling that fast is impossible, but i am saying its not that easy on 100% legal boards. of course if you have bounce and what not its a piece of cake... but then again... you aren't pulling the trigger that fast In conclusion, people need to get their facts straight when trying to make an argument. The cyclone was a great idea. but it wasn't exactly the greatest thing out there in terms of feeding. There are many more perks to owning an A-5 over a 98... and if you can't see that... then get both guns sitting in front of you and see how long it takes to field strip each of em... Sure his gun could use some improvements, but its taking a new approach on an A-5 and everyone is flipping out over this. relax!... and the blue macro isn't that big of a deal... jesus |
