At least where I'm at, there is no varsity or JV wresting.  Its just varsity, and its done by weight class, best person wrestles.

If your a freshman and really want to letter, just do cross country or track.  Even if you suck and are slow, you still get a letter.

My school is called the Vikings also...

anyways, I was on the Hockey Team, until we revolted against our coaches, and they kicked everyone off the team.  We didn't get letters, but I don't really care, I don't have a varsity jacket anyways

If your good enough, it doesn't matter what grade your in.  My brother is  a freshman and a starting Varsity pitcher.  Granted, he worked to death his 8th grade year, but it paid off now.

I never had any energy, my Friday nights were spent making weight, and my Saturdays were spent at tournaments.

Track, however, is rockin'.

Cool I'm going in as a freashman next year to wrestle and football. My brother almost went to state last year his senior year in the 215 weight class. I am 165 6"1. I am about to start going running and working out again since I recovered from my leg injury. I played football my 7th and 8th grade year in my middle school team. I played Right Guard on O-line, and Noseguard on D-line and kickoff and kickreturn, and backup middle linebacker. I'm a little nervous about football next year but there are times when I want to play and when i don't want to play. During practice I get mad and really hit people but I'm usually lazy in practice but good in games. We just got a really good new coach for my High School team so I'm excited about that because the team used to really suck. The new head coach walked in and fired all the old coaches except one.

Track pratices are the best, really easy. Wrestling sucks cause you always have to make it under weight.

I'm thinking about going out for CC next year... but I am horribly out of shape.  My lungs are torn to hell, and I don't have the best endurance.  Although if I start practicing now, I might make it.
