its an extenal enclosure for a harddrive or an optical drive. Pntbl freak, have you run out of case space or something? -------------

No, have an old hard drive, and so it uses one of the IDE cords.
With my new mobo, it only has one IDE slot because I didnt notice that
before i bought it. So as of right now, i can hook up my Cd drive
and my dvd drive at the same time. Because, IDE only can be
connected to 2 things, one being my hard drive, the other being my cd
rom. Unless I switch my hard drive
to sata.
