Subject: Question about co2 vs Nitro

I started PBing a while ago, but never was able to do it much. I own a 98c, but just ordered an A-5. Along with it, i bought a lapco bigshot (12"), R/T and remote.

I intend to use co2 for now (didnt have the money for nitro). Will co2 work alright for a while? Down the line, should I buy a nitro tank? If so, do I need anything else to make it work, or does it attach the same as the co2 tanks?

Thanks

yes co2 will work fine... tippmanns are made for them

but if you start to get a little bit serious with paintball i would highly recommend nitro

Well, here we go.

1.Welcome to the forum.

2.This is the marker gallery, no pic no post, people will give you crap if you dont post in the right section of the forum.

3.Call it HPA (High Pressure Air), not nitro. Some people are ignorant and get annoyed when you call it nitro.

4.Your gun will work fine on CO2. It was built for that. And yes, most HPA tanks screw in like CO2 tanks.

*Little info on HPA: HPA is better than CO2. You cant argue that fact. The reason that it is better because it is compressed air, meaning that it is not cold like CO2 and wont make your gun freeze up. It also makes your marker more efficient and consistant. It is expensive to switch to HPA but it is worth it IMO.

5.Future upgrades could be: Double Trigger, HPA tank, Low Pressure Kit (Be sure to order the RT kit from Tippmann so the RT works with the Low Pressure Kit. You are also going to have to buy a secondary regulator for this upgrade), E-grip, Proseal Powertube, Rear Velocity Adjuster......<<<IN THAT ORDER

*There are also many other upgrades that will be based on personal preference, so don't let anyone tell you what you want. These include stocks, scopes, drop forwards, flatline, etc... (This can also depend on your style of gameplay) Look around in the marker gallery here and see what kind of guns you like and ask the person what upgrades they have and put those on yours.

6.Good luck and happy paintballing!

I agree with most of the people in this room or whatever you want to call it, but HPA is good for the gun you will get more consistent shots. But something i will definetly emphasize on is that make sure that if you get a HPA tank that if it is 4500 p.s.i to not put it into that coil remote unless the coil is also 4500. most are 3000 p.s.i. Cause if you put a 4500 p.s.i tank in a 3000 p.s.i. coil that could end badly for you.

Much love And remember we were all noobies once.
