What do you do for a living. Because something smells kinda fishy. If you bought that many guns and rounds then I bet the FBI is watching you. Plus I do believe it is illegal to buy a fully automatic weapon so I'm doubting you bought those at a pawn shop or gun store.
Also I see some grenades in there and IF they are live then I know that to be illegal. That actually kinda looks like you got some pictures of captured enemy supplies from Iraq or something. You might have me to believe you bought one grenade but a dozen or so. Unless your in the military (or you dad is if your still a minor) then I think you done gone and got this picture from somewhere else. IF I am wrong (and I could be) then you better not be doing anything illegal because I'm sure you have someone checking your background (FBI, ATF, Homeland Security) And since I am here, I dont really care for the M16 or even really the M4. They are pretty good weapons but they just never really impressed me I am actually waiting to see the XM-8 (X for expiremental) they are coming out with. Now that is an impressive weapon, you change it from a rifle to a machine gun or sniper rifle in a matter of minutes with a tripod or a new barrel. Also it doesn't use gas to blow back the bolt so there will be much less problems with it jaming or getting carbon crud all over the place (if done right). Aks are simply designed weapons that are extremely effective which is why a lot of other countries have copied its design for their own use (Chinese, Isrealis, etc.) the problem with it is (as Im told) is its accuracy. They when you shoot as someone the 1st 3 rounds might hit them but every round after that is anti-aircraft rounds. I do like the MP5 though. Before you post again please think, he said ARs not M16's they are semi automatic weapons legal to own in all states. You can own a fully automatic weapon if you have the $$$$$ and a unblemished backround. Second the XM8 sucks, HK propaganda at it's finest. The AR can change from a assualt rifle to a sniper rifle in seconds with a new upper. The AR/m-16 is a battle proven weapon second only in reliability to the AK, the XM8 can't even pass the tests they put it through. ARs can be chamber from everything from a .22lr to a .50BMG. The XM8 failed terribly in the USSOCOM SCAR trials, the firearms that seem to be the future are FNs SCAR and the XCR basically an AR that works off of the AKs gas system. HK has sold off rights to the XM8 due to its recent string of bad performances. I like the assumption, that you have a old colt AR that the FBI is watching you. You know before you can buy any gun through an FFL that you are put through a backround check first by the gov't to ok the sale right???. And yes the picture is from an amory, just a cool pic he shared with us. Don't post about something you obviously know nothing about, quit watching mail call and then believing you've become an overnight firearm guru. -------------

I said I maybe wrong, the flaming is unnecessary. First He Was claiming to own the all those AKs. When you buy a gun they give a joke of a background check "is his record clean?" "yeah" "ok he can buy it" but when the government starts registering all those serial numbers into their system and NCIC (a national computer system the police use for federal warrents, missing people, and the such) they are going to ask themselves why does one man need so many automatic weapons and they are going to do a little bit more of a check on his background than that joke he got when he bought it. Some of the time people that own that many automatics are up to no good (Weco, Texas). I know the AR-15s arent automatic I was talking about the AKs. I dont know anything about the XM-8, nore did I claim to, that is why I said I wanted to see it. I on the other hand am prior military so I do happen to know a little about the M16 and its ar15 cousin. You need to watch your timper, I never attacked or flamed anyone I merely questioned his owning so many weapons. There was no need for you to jump all over me like that. Also I probably know more about the legal side of this then you ever will. You know very little as your previous post proves. To assume all AKs are fully automatic is very dumb assumption you your part. To tell a guy that the Fed are probably watching him because he has five guns is also a stupid thing to say. You are the only idiot here who probably believes that the armory pic was his own personal collection. Being a poser is not something you want to start in life young man. The Brady Bill good god that says it all!! But if you're smart you will buy one of those AKs when your old enought and legally able to, they will double and triple in price. If you bought one now and saved it I bet in 15 years you could easily get double what you originally paid for it. I could have bought a Real HK fully automatic MP5 from a SWAT officer here, but didn't have 15,000 dollars + the 200 for the tax to own one. He sold it for 12,500 eventually, damn was a thing of beauty too. -------------

sheriffhuck511, go hide in a corner. Im to lazy to read the rest of the posts so Im not sure if anyone has answered this yet. First off, Its not illegal to own a full auto weapon. Its only illegal to sell them unless you have a Class 3 or "O3" license. Second, unless he is a very, very rich man, none of his weapons are "automatic". I am saying this assuming that you are thinking full auto. Third, if he owns that many weapons, the goverment wont do anything. Many people I know own many weapons, because they buy and re-sell. My dad being one of them, has a Class 2 or "O2" License. Which allows him to buy and resell firearms as long as they are not "Automatic" or full auto as some would say. For one, I know that they wont keep any more of an eye on you if you buy more weapons than anyone else, because I own several AK's(all pre-ban or polytech), and my dad owns many too. Hell he buys them in the crates of about 5 boxes, one box holding 5 rifles. So dont go around purading that you know what your talking about when you dont. All right, I looked it up.
1.) I was unware it was legal to have grenades if they were registered I have always been total the possesion of a "distruction device" is unlawful. 2.) Yes I know about the class 3 license but was unware that just anyone could get one, I just read the law and saw they could. 3.) The Ar-15s were never the issue. I know that not all AKs are fully auto but there was belts of ammo in those pictures and I dont know of any semis that use belts. To reply to some of the remarks I am a full grown adult that works for my local Sheriff's Department and have for the last four years, but I am not ATF so I dont know all about fire arm dealer laws. I was trying to find them in the GA Code (Georgia Laws) but could only find the chapter on how to get a license. I did overstep my bounds I was working on the assumptions about what I have been told, us local officers aren't taught that kind of law and it seems that some of my co-workers are wrong in their assumptions as well. But in the post 9/11 and patriot act world were the federal government can, without a warrant, get a list of everyone you call, the subject line and receiptant of every email you send, and other stuff I am sure that they are indeed checking a little more closely for anyone who would buy a surplus of weapons such as the picture of the armory he showed if for no other reason than to make sure he isnt part of a terrorist cell. They may not be outside the door but wouldn't you do a check when someone without a dealer's license starts stock piling assualt weapons? I take that back there have been scores of other crazies that have bought tons of those weapons unnoticed why should they start now. I believe the AR4 pics, but as for the armory pics, i'm sorry, but i'm raising the Bull $hit flag on that one.
If that is really a pic of your "dad & his nam buddys" armory, you could very easily put a piece of paper next to the AK's saying, "Predator is telling the truth". And i'm not talking photoshop either. This looks like yet another thread of people finding pics of guns, then posting them and claiming that they are theirs so they will look cool, and i for one am not buying it. -------------

Guns are a thing of beauty that foreigners just can't understand I think that if everyone in the world owned guns then the world would be a much safer place. Oh and by the way I never liked the French hows about you and me gather friends and take over France with your little armory. Oh by the way on a serious note for those of you wondering how he got them on a soldiers pay at first. Well you'd be amazed what you can do when you save your money. Thats a big problem in America today, no one can ever retire and have to work longer hours because they can't save their money. So I sat back and watched this thread about the ak conversation..... first of all I find it kinda funny that "YOUR DADS FRIENDS" would put evidence tags with numbers for discription of contence on there own stuff, and second you said "IT STUFF MY DADS FRIENDS BROUGHT BACK FROM VIETNAM" well sir the anti personel i.e. the land mines and gernades are post vietnam, Being retired form the military and having been with jsoc it was my job to know and work with com block weapons. | last month some guy up here(canada) took out 4 cops with a H&K 552(i belive a 552 is a H&K). it was semi auto and it shot through the copps bullet proof vests. this guy must have been quick cuse the copps didnt even have time to return fire at the guy..... he had 2 other guns at the place but the copps STILL arnte able to identify them. he had a illegeal magazine on it(20 rounds) well its illegeal here any ways |

the 552 is a sig made in austria not germany like the H&K heckler and koch assault rifles are usually 2 digit numbers =) except the g3which i dont think is even in production anymore rifle tend to go through bulet proof vest becuase of there extreme speeds. 2800+ feet per second. the vest are meant to stop pistol fire which is much slower 800 fps hehe im a bit of a gun nut |

| ya i knew about the vests not being able to with-stand a high velocity round, the copps wer addmiting that the 4 copps that got killed wer not equiped to handle this guy. the whole town knew about they guy being really dangerous just no-one had the guts to deal with him. what the copps(2 copps went to check it out first)original plan was to go and check for stolen proporty at the guys house but while they wer there they found a grow opp(a big ware house full of dope that the guy was growing) and when they went on the guys proporty he wasnt there so they 2 copps stayed there over night. during the night some time the owner of the farm sneaked back onto his proporty and hid in the wear house untill morning, that morning the 2 copps that were origanaly sent called back for 2 more copps to come out with them to search the wear house more, when they entered the ware house they guy was in the wating for them and killed all of them and soon after more copps wer called in they saw the guy running out of the wear house and he started shooting at the approaching the copps he then went back into the ware house and shot him self(the news said it was a H&K high caliber rifle but i though a 552 was made by H&K so i assumed it was a 552 but i stand corected) |

Wait untill FN releases the P90 soccer moms will hit the roof. (It's the submachine gun (semi auto version) that shoots the 5.7 round that the bradey bill people want to keep from being sold. 5.7 round can completely penetrate kevlar vests and helmets with relative ease. But lets see how much ammo costs first! -------------

| ah yes the fn p90 is quite a piece of work. i dotn really like the shap of it but heck i would like to shoot one one those. i wonder how much of a kick it hasit is a rather small round for a submachine gun but it has a larger load i believe. will they let you use the stand 50 (or is it 60) round clip? |

It's a 50 round clip that twists the bullet to load it, it's only a little 5.7 bullet kick is non existent, any pistol 9mm and up kicks more than it would. I have a FN rep video if you want me to post it and link it, it shows the round defeating bullet proof vests, in fact it blows completely threw them. -------------

The slowest pistol round out is a .45 acp and it travels about 980 feet per second....... .40 cal, 9mm around 1390 feet per second as far as ballistic vests, 3A and 3 will stop pistol rounds and 4A 4 will stop Rifle rounds...up to some of the fastest .30 cal rounds..... I.E. .308 30.06 stuff like that. Having been shot in the line of duty....by a .40 cal Glock from less then 6 feet away.....you dont want to be shot with any thing even with a vest on.....BLUNT TRAMA IS BAD! brused heart, lungs, broken ribs and black and blueing that would make even the best shoot um up movie makeup artist say NOW THATS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT! ------------- IF EVER THING ELSE FAILS.... The P90 has been out for a long time, at least half a decade. I believe they were released in '99, however, my brother, the gun fanatic, tells me it's the mid-90's or late-80's. Anyway, do NOT drop the gun with a loaded magazine that isn't full, or a partially filled magazine, because it causes all the bullets to come out of alignment, and the gun jams. Also, the round has the ability to punch through body armor is because it does not expand(like a rifle round or pistol hollow-point rounds, which make big holes. It doesn't make big holes, and isn't an incredibly powerful round, hence the reason it hasn't caught on like the 9mm and 10mm HK guns, as well as the .40 submachine guns. Very cool gun though. |
