Lets see here...Slipknot couldn't make a decent metal album to save
their lives and Lamb of God is nothing special. Your cousin really
needs to stop listening to terrible music and then immediately naming it "heavy."

Underoath is good, although I do prefer the old underoath before they changed singers and styles completely.

Ugh. Underoath is not hardcore. It is Screamo. Norma Jean, Poison The Well, Bleeding Through, Autem to Ashes, Atreyu, NONE of them are hardcore. They are MetalCore. Here, check out some albums from bands like 7Seconds, Agnostic Front, and Kill Your Idols. -------------

I do split my bands into alot smaller classes becuase they can be split. Just my chronic OCD I guess. I will give you that older Underoath is hardcore, but they turned south fast. If I remember correctly, in an interview the lead singer said (this is a paraphrase) "We are not hardcore and never were, but we appreciate our fanbase". In my opinion, Metalcore is slower than hardcore, and focuses more on the fact that the lead singer is indeed screaming. Hardcore is built around the really super fast speed of the music, and the lead singer screams most of the time to compliment the music. Thats just my opinon, I am a music snob and I cannot help it, sorry -------------

You do indeed have bad taste in music. How can you listen to someone screaming into the microphone for 3 minutes. All those sappy ass songs, complainging about problems they don't have. I like to listen to bands with talent. -------------

ok its ur opinion not mine. like i said i listen to ALL rock and ur opinions really dont matter to me.oh and how i can listen to someone screaming for 3 minutes? its easy i put in the cd into the cd player and i push play and then someone screams for 3 minutes.
