I was senior patrol leader...not as much "bossing" as you'd think. At least if your good. You will be more involved in creating a better troop experience for your guys.
Never went very far though, I left boyscouts and started working and going to college. Later Oh yeah, your sig is pretty funny...too big, but funny -------------

Yeah, scouts is fun. Im still working on my eagle, although it is just some loose ends that need tying up. I should be finished soon. About hades merit badge comment, i feel close to the same way. They really do teach you a lot.
Only thing i dont like is that the uniform looks goofy, but meh. Backpacking/whitewater rafting/other awesome campouts make up for that. ------------- ///AMG What? |

i hated boyscouts it was horrible, the only thing that was fun was the pinewood derbys. But one of my good friends became an eaglescout, more power to him. Plus isnt it if you join the army and your and eagle scout you automatically get a better rank? -------------

| im spl. the little kid dopnt listen too me. they all complain we dotn have enough program or it not fun enough. so i do 15 minute opening and anouncement 30 minutes patrol activity 30 minutes program 30 minutes games. 5 minute clothing. the hate me becuase i am either not putting in enogh program or ot enough games. so then people leave the troop. so i try to do more or less games and more or less program and people get more pissed off. and i get blamed when the adult or my patrol leaders screw up... there are only 16 kid in my troop. anyway good luck |

Hehe, working on my eagle. I HOPE to finish my project before the end
of May, then its only a few more merit badges and its mine. I was SPL, wasnt much fun. The first three weeks of my job I was at Philmont, the next 5 weeks I was on staff at Camp Maluhia, our local scout camp. The director promised me that I could take the week off and stay with my troop but he changed his mind a day before they came up. The rest was a haze of crappy meetings and snoty kids. ASPL (Assistint Senior Patrol Leader) is much better. Myself and my former ASPL switched positions so I just sit back and enjoy no work. I also managed to obtain a possition as Patrol Leader for National Jamboree. I have 5 guys I am in charge of, say good bye to KP duty!  And regarding the Scoutmaster accused, its sick but you really cant the entire Scouting program by one rotten egg.
