has anyone ever heard of the Bodyguard and/or Civil war game?  i'm sure it's been played before.  i used to play them back home.  anyway, in bodyguard you select a president, two bodyguards, and 3 assassins.  the rules are, the bodyguards can never be eliminated but the assassins can and so can the president.  the president doesn't get a gun, that's where the bodyguards come in to protect him.  the bodyguards try to get the president from one side of the playing area to the other while the assassins try to hit the president.  if the president is hit the assassins win and if all of the assissins are hit or if the president makes it safely to the other side then the bodyguards win.  this was one of my favorites.

as for Civil war, you divide your group into to two teams and line up shoulder to shoulder facing the other team.  distances between teams depends on your choice, we usually set it about 30 yards.  anyway you flip a coin to see who goes first and in turn each team takes a blind shot towards the other team.  by this i mean everyone has their gun pointed down, then when their turn comes they bring their gun and shoot without aiming.  it's quite fun and it also helps you on your game when someone might surprise you and you have to take a blind shot.

I have heard of this many time ,many versions ,and guese what?, THEY ALL SOUND FUN!But I don't think I would want to be a body guard noir president.

The anxiety and anticipation makes is awesome.

But when we play...we aim and can turn to the side.

I was just wondering how some of the games you mentioned are played.  Please tell me about Advantage, Run For It, Free For All, and PTP.  I'm just looking for some different scenario games.

yeah just the other day, my buddy decided to just start shooting me before our next game and he nearly miss my junk.  i then threw my mask at him and body slammed him into the ground.  i'm thinking about getting a cup now cause that could cause some serious damage!

civil war sounds fun but like how far do you get from eachother and do you step forward everynow and then??

We always play civil war at the end of the day and we always tape it, its very funny to watch. We also often play president, some of are most exciting and fast paced games are when we play president. Sometimes we change the rules so that the president has to carry a small piece of cloth and the assassins have to take out the president, capture the cloth and take it back to there base, kind of like a moving center flag.

carry a sawed off shotgun, load it with blanks, but claim they're BBB loads...works for me...havent been cheap shotted since I leveled it at the trigger-happy jerk...then shot him...but it was all wad, no shot...

cups are nice, but they leave a real funny mark if you get hit (a red ring around your junkles, but it beats a popped nut)

Protect the President is fun, i don't play it where the body guards can't die, they can take two shots anywhere but the face (one hit kill gun shots don't count) assassins die from one shot anywhere.  Same with president.  Trouble is i'm always president (i'm smaller than most of my friends and very fast. 

Bunny hunt is fun too. Get one bunny (dumb person who will run into the woods with a mask and no marker) and 5-7 hunters.  Tell bunny to go to the other side, grab the flag and come back.  (obviously for woods ball)  Very fun being the bunny. 

Another fun one is stalker, basically you have spies trying to get the flag (play at night or when its semi-dark) They don't get guns but they "Knock Out" the other guards for (insert desired amount of time here) then they can get back up.  you can't stun a guards after he gets up for 30 seconds ( you stun a guard by touching them before getting shot) you can kill them by grabbing them from behind.  No flashlights and make sure there are more spies than guards.  this might sound dumb/childish but once you play it, it is fun if everyone abides by the rules.

my version of civil war is where u run around with no hoppers and u have to feed one paintball at a time. its really fun. i can the lined up game thingy gettysburg.
