Old laws are t3h kewl.

My high school history teacher told me a story (dunno if it is true - probably not) about when he was at the university in Europe:  Apparently a fellow student sat down for an exam and demanded ale.  When queried by the confused professor, the student pointed to a university regulation from 1687 (or whatever) to said that "students taking exams shall be provided with 2 pints of ale."  So the prof got the beer for the student.

The professor took revenge next term, when he fined the student two silver pieces for not wearing a sword to class.

Quote "The government has no business meddling in the private relationships of consenting adults," said Jennifer Rudinger, executive director of the ACLU-NC Legal Foundation.

You know, if she wins, all hell will break loose down there...

Its illegal to whistle underwater in some states....

hunting whales in against the law in one of the inner states.

Drivers may not drive while blindfolded in a few states.

No jumping out of a plane with out a parachute in one state.

No hnting cammels in nebraska I think it was.

No driving with a grizly bear in your back seat if you are in a particular state.

I feel like a moron because I cant remeber the states these laws are in.

According to that site anyone can be fined for not owning a boat here.  It is also illegal to place coins in ones ears.  I dont know why they list no billboards as a law, makes thigns nicer around here, not stupid.

Some good Massachusetts ones.

"An old ordinance declares goatees illegal unless you first pay a special license fee for the privilege of wearing one in public."

"
All men must carry a rifle to church on Sunday."

"
A woman can not be on top in sexual activities."

Boston Laws:
"
No one may take a bath without a prescription."

These are so good. I think I am going to look further into that rifle one and see if it's real. I will then do it and get out of jail.
