i recomend highly wearing a cup...reason being your new and dont quite know how to cover your body from fire yet...i know a few people who have been show in the family jewels...and every one of them hit the ground...so...just for your own saftey...wear a cup...lol

Let them experience it first, then and there, the new player can decide whether or not to use a cup....take it from me, since I live near the projects in the city I live in....once you hear one gun shot (paintball or real), you will learn to automatically duck and tuck. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

I dont wear a cup, cant run with it and it ends up doing more damage than good. I have had a few calls as well. I wasnt even playing when one of the guys popped two rounds at me (I had no mask, I was watching from afar and approched them when they finished, it was an "outlaw" game) and they both flew between my legs an inch below the painful area. I play woods and when I used to play without, while taking a knee, i would put up a leg that would cover it from shots from the opposing team. I had a close call where i was sitting and a ball hit the inside of my leg. I'm glad the ball didn't bounce off my leg and hit me where it hurts. Cup has been worn ever since. I saw one of my friends go down quickly. We were asking him why he went down(it was dark at the time) and so I turned on my flashlight and he was checking to see if he was ok. The bad thing was that it was a close range ball bounce. (I bet he wished it broke) |
