How do you polish the A-5 internals, and also the other day i took apart my A-5 and cleaned it, and i was wondering, would cleaning the bolt, lubing it, and the lubing the parts where the bolt slides back and forth with a Q-tip be good enough, or did i do it wrong?

Any help comes with a thanks in advance.

You can polish the internals in the A-5. Its very easy, just follow the directions for the 98 and polish the similar areas. http://model98.net/mod3.html - http://model98.net/mod3.html

And the way you oiled it is perfect. Remember not to do the front bolt. And also drop 3 drops of oil into the ASA, and fire 30 shots without the barrel (just air).

Hey!

You DO oil the front bolt!

You oil ALL moving parts!

Because if it moves, it creates friction and friction is bad!

You should lightly or not at all oil the front bolt. The oil comes off very easily from it and gets in your barrel decreasing accuracy. Theres not much friction from the front bolt. Contact to the walls is minor and smooth. You can lightly oil it, but I dont reccomend it.

Paintballs are oily anyway.

And you oil everything lightly, you don't take a bottle of oil and go to town on the inside of your marker, there should never be any accumulation of oil anywhere.(that means not enough to be blown down the barrel)

And I don't want to argue, it's just that I used to get payed to do this stuff.(worked for RJ Performace Inc.) So I do know what I'm talking about here.
