Errr... How?  Usually when someone or something changes history it effects everyone, including the people who have no idea who he is, or what he did, like me.

Death is never happy, but it's important to remember others who have died on the same day that won't receive as much glory.

Well, others were not as great as him (or at least they weren't recognized for it).

let me think Comrad(clue) I'll have to check with the people from Eastern Germany(Clue), I know him and Regan were good friends(clue).

He will be dearly missed by everyone with or without faith... The next pope has some big shoes to fill.

That's purely a matter of opinion. I know many people that will never be recognized as him and weren't given the opportunities as he was to shine, yet they still do. The word is not "great," but more like "a good man" in my opinion. However, many people will fall under the category of being "a good man/woman" in my eyes.
