When I read a barrel description, sometimes it refers to it as an autococker barrel. I was wondering if an autococker barrel would work on a 98c. Thanks.

Yeah, it would not work on a 98c. It has to be 98c threads to fit on a 98c not autococker threads. When they say it's a "autococker" barrel or whatever then they are refering to the threads of the barrel.

You could get a Tippmann to autococker thread adapter , Lapco , I think makes them , but Lapco also makes some very good barrels for the 98 that wont need the adapters .

J&J  and Lapco seem to be the two most popular aftermarket barrel manufacturers on this forum . Reasonably priced , and good performance so I've heard .

The biggest factor along with Bore finish , is paint to bore Matching .

SL68-II , micro honed and polished .688" bore . Tuff Enuf .
Widowmaker , under construction
