The boomy will be a lot more accurate than the stock barrel. It will not increase the distance much, if any though (only the flatline will do that). In my opion it will improve your game a lot.

You're yankin me right? With the Av and post count I'm thinkin you're messin w/ us. If not the boom is arguably one of the five best barrels ever made. It will be a whole different world compared to the stock barrel. You will have to cough up to get one though. My personal opinion is, you wouldn't need to put one on a Tipp. unless you were building a $700 monster out of it.

I think most of his posts are in the "Four word post, yo" thread.

Boomsticks are great barrels. You will love it. Much better than the stock barrel.

Honestly, i was thinking about gettin a boomstick for my a-5. but i found out that the price is way to high. talking to some people i found out that the freak barrel is really good also. i hear its one of the best barrels out there so thats what im getting. if u get the Freak Barrel Kit it comes out roughly to... $159 - for aluminum and $189 - for stainless steel. and that comes w/8 inserts. and if u dont want the kit it basically runs u .... about $94 - $100. just my opinion do what u want but check out the freak barrels b4 u buy a boomstick. heres the site http://www.smartparts.com - www.smartparts.com . and sorry if i didnt answer ur question. just tryin to help u out.

"boomys" are way over rated.  a j & j will everything a "boomy" will do, if not better. plus it's way lower on the price.

The freak is great, as long as you make the paint bore match slightly bigger, because that way you never get a break in the barrel.  I have the stainless as you can see and its slick, slicker than aluminum barrels.
