no matter what i say you can just counter with the phrase: "well thats just your opinion." But i will try to explain myself. Green Day is a band that labels themselves as punks and rebels, much like Linkin Park, but they, like Linkin Park, are neither punk or rebelious. They are not punk because they focous to much on polotics and they have become too mainstream. Green Day is music for boys ages 8-11 who wear metal bracelets and think they are cool when they steal gum. Green Day is for suburban punks, who have had every thing handed to them and still think they are misunderstood and intimidating. Hopefully one day Green Day fans will grow some arm pit hair and listen to some real music. -------------

no not at all, actually, they dress closer to normal than most bands in thier genre i do not like their political views, their style of play, or most of their fans -------------

And just how are they labeling themselves rebelious? I'm 16. Wear American Eagle clothes. And steal gum becuase I'm too cheap to pay for it. I like Greenday, so my statement just completly tore yours to shreads. And btw, I do infact have armpit hair, and I do listen to this so called "real music".

Haha. I am not the biggest fan of Green Day but I would rather listen to their hits over absolutely every thing shown on MTV since the mid 1990's.
