for anybody who has used this mod, how much should you cut the pen spring.  I cut it a little bit and the spring has a good stretch.  Does it matter how much space is between loop on the spring.   last but not least, if i am playing and the spring falls off, how will i know and is there a wat to keep it on securely

Just cut it the same length as the stock return spring and it will never fall off.

^ The "Pen Spring Mod" is simply replacing your trigger return spring with a lighter pen spring. It gives you a little lighter pull.

I dont get it if you want a light pull take out the spring and how would it make a difference the sear still needs the same amount of force to trip it.

^^ Yes it takes the same amount of force, but the pen spring lightens the pull up to that point, and it helps return the trigger.

are you supposed to use a spring from the inside of a pen? sounds like a stupid question but i don't want to screw something up.

Oh I tryed this but no spring is better in my opinion but I guess a really light spring like the pen spring would help but the pull is alot lighter now.

Another great addition is to shortin the pull by using a guitar pick or a little piece of plastic to shorting the pull.
